It's strange that they want to hide her injury. So many reasons could be easily written for a broken leg and it's not like it would change the story of Penny or her relationship with the guys, like a pregnancy would. I remember when matt leblanc dislocated his shoulder on the friends set and had to wear a blue thingy to hold his arm, the writers wrote like a 10 seconds scene where you could hear joey jump on the his bed and then fall of it. Easy way to write it in...and so funny :)

I was on crutches from a broken ankle earlier this year. She should stand straighter and not have those things too far to the side. So glad they didn't have to amputate. those metal plates are no fun to get put in though.
