It's such a shame what happend to the Bucks in the end. The youtube series was genuinely fucking hilarious, proper laughing out loud shtuff. Once they had to make the episodes last half an hour for RTE, they really stuggled. The great thing about the web episodes was the lack of a storyline, it was just the lads buzzing off each other and having the craic. Hopefully it's not the end for the lads but it's hard to see a way back after the rte stuff, the characters were so forced and it showed

And on a budget 10% of some of RTE programmes that are less watched.

Mr O' Connor was smirkin when he introduced them and waited for the boys to make fools of themselves when 75% of the studio hadn't a clue who they were.

Jesus, Eddie was pure shit in that interview. Why did he change his voice like that? He sounds like a dope. I think he went overboard with his character to the point where he doesn't even sound like himself. And because of that, he looks like he's acting. He doesn't look convincing anymore. He's actually really believable in the youtube episodes. When watching those episodes sometimes you'd nearly forget the whole thing is fake. That was the beauty of those episodes. But that's gone now.

The tv series ruined the beauty of hardy bucks. Before it got on tv it was just about these lads and what goes on in their daily lives. There were no storylines. The humour was in the characters. And it looked real. Now RTE are trying to make a storyline in each episode and the bucks look like they're acting.
