  • Great cover man.

Its great to hear what an SE can be capable of with a few mods and in the right hands.

    Rock on!

  • @merkury06 Thanks! I got to improve the solo a bit ;)

  • how important are his pickups for his sound?

  • @villafan95 I can't speak for Mark, but pickups do make a difference but, that being said, having a good tube amp, and your approach to playing also have a large impact on how you sound. Mark has excellent guitars, plays through several amps, good cables, good pickups, but, his playing is very clean and well-practiced.

  • @garynoon thanks for the reply ive got a marshall jvm205h through and 1960a cab with a gibson traditional, my pickups arnt really good for AB songs or marks heavy rhythm and palm mutes, i think if i change them then my sound would improve greatly

  • the palm mutes sound great on that guitar

  • @ALittleSomethngExtra . Agreed. I love how it sounds. Fantastic axe for the money.

  • Hey man. Awsome cover. Dont understand some of the haters comments on here. Ur technique is excellent. I play a little myself. And i always struggle with some of alterbridges songs. Keep posting ur vids. U rock!!

  • why do you use the se when you have a real tremonti signature?

  • @grigno97 The Signature was tuned differently when I made this cover. The SE sounds great with Tremonti Pickups in it.

  • @garynoon how much did you pay for them? where did you buy it?

  • @garynoon

Hey Man, does this Locking Tunners help keeping the guitar on tune? Or the diference of the guitar with the regular tunes and with the locking tunners is not so big? And what Locking tunes are these?

I Have a PRS SE, and it doesn't keep on tuning so much, and would like to Know if It's a good Idea to change the regular for Locking Tuners, and what tuners to buy ...

    Thank's man o//

  • You're always gonna have the wannabes posting trash on your videos. And you'll notice they NEVER post anything of themselves playing. Keep it up. I appreciate learning AB's songs from a few of the videos you've posted. Thanks.

  • @bangitsmom Thanks for the support!

  • sounds great man! aso, is this a room in your house, or a pro studio? cuz, if this is in your house....may i please rent a room? :-)

  • @TheBrokenWing1 It's a basement studio in my house. ;)

  • could cover zero by alter bridge ? i really love that song :D

  • @BIGSOULJAS I may do that one soon.

  • @garynoon thats great!

    BTW nice cover man

  • Dude, i reckon, if for whatever reason Mark was unable to play an Alter Bridge gig, they would ask you to step in. I'm willing to bet my First Guitar. You're friggin awesome!

  • @Gathorax Well, thanks! Very kind words!

  • Very Good! =D

  • @tylervortex Thanks!

  • like like :))

  • @chikrumba Thanks!

  • Tight riffing dude...you need to work a bit on your solo-playing though, it's a bit sloppy but you are a very tight rhythm player :)

  • @PhilosopherOnWeed Agreed :)

  • awesome guitar! I wish i had one like that...

  • @TheJohanValvik1 Thanks! I love it. I added Tremonti Pickups and locking tuners to it. Now, it's a beast. ;)

  • @garynoon What locking tuners did you install out of curiosity? Awesome playing btw!

  • @O00Coolzero00O Hi! My Tremonti SE features all-PRS parts: Tremonti Treble and Bass pickups, and PRS Phase II locking tuners.

  • @garynoon : Just a few questions for you, did you have any issue with the installation of or with the tuners (i.e. the pilot holes for the tuners not lining up,)- I've heard stories about people drill new holes and the tuners having enough clearing for the strings to be run to them.

Where did you get the tuners, I definitely would love to buy a tremonti SE and install the same pair! =D

  • @O00Coolzero00O This was part of an 'artists package' I had installed at the PRS factory.

You can see the holes where the original tuners were mounted on the headstock, but the new tuners

    work perfectly.

  • the intro's weird... you sure it's correct man, the rest is AMAZING :D

  • @H3lloSE Hi. Which part? :)

  • @garynoon 13-12-7-8-10. I think that's how it should be done xD

  • @H3lloSE I gotcha. I'll check it out when I'm back home. Def appreciate the input.

You know how it is. When you play something, you really think you have it nailed. ;)

Good to have another set of ears and eyes.

  • @garynoon im not saying yours is incorrect, but it's easier to play like this :) amazing performance though man ^^

  • hey what effects unit do u use

  • @tremolister1 HI. Im using an RJM RG-16 to switch amp channels, and I have a pedal board you can check out on my facebook page. Look for the link on the left side of my Channel. There are a couple of pics that show all the pedals I have on it. - G

  • Okay I'm going to straighten myself out here. I was an ass when I posted my last comment and I'm sorry, this really is a great cover esp if you did in fact learn it by ear. I did notice a few things that were "off" per-se but overall this is a really great job playing this song.

  • @belfastbomber189 Dude, don't worry about it. Everybody gets a little 'sensitive' when someone critiques their 'work'. ;) I don't mind criticism, as long as somebody shares how I can do something better. Just telling me I sucked doesn't help me.

    I do appreciate you watching. - G

  • @garynoon Haha you even look like Tremonti! Great cover man!

  • @djeikop Ha ha. I try to look like myself, but I guess the goatee makes people think I look like Mark. ;)

  • @belfastbomber189 And where is your version? I learned

    this by ear. Grow up.

  • @garynoon by the way. ask mark tremonti how he learned how to play guitar in the first place....he might just give you a few pointers on how to PLAY music. the greatest guitarist that you idolize didn't sit around bitching. like mark tremonti they were kids too, who went to the music store instead of using the internet and they bought instructional videos of who they idolized in there time.

  • @jailhouseofrock0130 Pardon? Not sure what you mean dude. I'm not bitching at all. Sure you didn't mistake me for someone else?

  • @belfastbomber189 Just because you have access to the internet, and a bad attitude, doesnt mean your a good guitar player. You sure arent showing any talent on your channel. Nor a lack of weight. Get a life.

  • @belfastbomber189 Dude wtf is wrong with you? This is a great cover. If you don't like it then just say that but you don't gotta talk shit to the man. He plays great. I mean do you have a great tribute band to Alter Bridge?

  • Great Job! dude i want all your guitars i would buy anyone lol that was a tremonti se right?

  • @heavensdoors23 Hi Bro. Thanks! Yep. Sounds really good through the Herbert.

  • Bro i think After you get done recording I know it Hurts and Ghost of Days Gone By, Slip to the Void would be kick ass! Also where did you get the tabs for this?

  • @DiveBombProductions Hi. I plan to go through the whole record ( bonus tracks too).

I learn these by ear, so no tabs. Sorry dude!

  • @garynoon Thats good to hear i freaking love your covers man! And thats pretty cool that you learn all this by ear! Major props bro! \m/

  • @DiveBombProductions Thanks man! Should check out AlterTremonti. He does some

    great AB covers too.

  • @garynoon Yep. Justin does a great job on his covers too.

  • what is the tuning on that song?

  • @rhelmod Hi Dude. Tuning is Drop C#. I've posted the gear and tuning i use in the Info section of the video.

    Thanks for watching!

  • What are we gonna see next....or is it a surprise?

  • @nando72654 I know it hurts, and ghost of days gone by are on deck...

  • ps. would be cool to see you cover All hope is gone, such a kickass song.

  • @AndersOfDriftwood Let me see what I can do. I've got to record and post Ghost of Days Gone by, and I Know It Hurts, then I'll figure out what I'm going to do next ;)

  • Nice work as always! I actually like how you commit to it with your whole body and face, really shows that you just love doing it ;)

Thanks for always posting the tuning, really helps me out.

  • Thanks Anders! Thanks for noticing. Regarding the tuning and such, you're welcome.

  • @garynoon np. Btw, have the same PRS Tremonti SE but with the original pickups. Is it worth replacing them for the real Tremonti pickups? (Really envyous of your guitar collection).

Check out my vids of me singing with AB, such a dream moment. Myles pulled of a great solo in brand new start ;)

  • Thats awesome! Great song. My fav album!!! keep up the good work

  • Thanks! It's definitely an amazing record. Can't wait to see them on the 19th.

  • Nice cover man

  • Thanks!

  • great playing but I am not a fan of your expression

  • Thanks dude. I don't like the 'o' faces much either, but it's kind of an involuntary thing. ;)

  • @garynoon most guitarists have something they do, whats the white prs there, a chris henderson model?

  • Hi Crimson. Very true. Sometimes I get guff because people say I'm trying to 'copy Tremonti', but I'm just doing what I've always done. ;)

Yes. It's a custom Chris Henderson model.

  • Nice.....

  • Thanks nando!

  • Great Cover Man !

  • Thanks!
