If you ever knew anything about Journey, it is that Steve was always causing friction among the groups members, glad he is gone, their new frontman is awesome, Journey was always the other members, and they finally relalized and they moved on, 1man does not make the GROUP.

Arnel is an awesome singer. Can't deny that. Steve Perry put Journey on the map and he will always be the best thing that happened to this band, but he is not singing with Journey anymore. This is one of their best songs on the new album. Respect for Arnel.

As for Revelations LP, I'm an old school Perry fan but it's actually a pretty good, solid record. Arnel emulates Perry at times, and on other songs, has his own style and voice.

I wish Steve would come back to the band. Journey should not have gone on with vocalists that tried to copy steve. If you try to restart a band, do not try to imitate the past. Look at foreigner, he has the same sound but , his own. Journey, my favorite band, tried to copy some one, that you can not. Try a different sound, vocally?

Yes he sounds great, but I can't help thinking it's a big Steve Perry rip off. It's still someone emulating (almost exactly) a singers style and sound. That belongs to Steve Perry and Journey.....sounds great, but so do Elvis impersonators.

There's a lot of fans that are trapped in their TIME CAPSULE wearing their bell bottoms and butterfly collars. .Times has changed & so did Music. Bottom line is, IF A.P. Journey is a group, not one person. I've seen several Journey concerts with each of the previous and current front men. I'll continue to go to their concerts regardless of who is the lead singer. It's the music and lyrics, not a voice, that keeps me a Journey fan!

i'm a JOURNEY fan, doesn't matter who is up front singing lead, that is the diff between all you perry fans that liked the 'back up music' for perry to sing to while he was in journey.

I was a journey fan BEFORE perry and i'll be a fan if pineda goes too, its the MUSICAL sound I dig. as far as pineda he has his life balanced out with solo gigs and charity work and even joint ventures with other musicians, he is not livin for only his collaboration with journey
