There is no absolute need to sacrifice the Battle Helicopters to get to Day 2, even on Advance Campaign. Just move the Infantry all 3 spaces north and it will survive long enough to get evacuated by a Transport Helicopter. (Sami's defense bonus to foot soldiers and the Plains should knock the damage by an AA Tank down to 84%, which will never be an IK. And there won't be multiple units capable of hitting it.)
In the JP only installments of the Nintendo Wars series, most units are shown as a team of 10 in animations. Vessels in SFW and GBW3 are never shown to be a group....but their firepower is still lowered by reduced HP nevertheless.
During any pre deployed mission.. your Power Meter WILL fill up quickly...
