  • Above Burtons in Uxbridge...on a Friday night!

    Great memories.

  • Very poor lip-syncing... good recording nevertheless. These guys should have been much bigger.

  • this is a great song, saw Cliff at Weston S Mare last year with the Manfreds, he was brilliant , catch him if you can brilliant under rated singer

  • A cover version--the U.S. Drifters (Johnny Moore) had the original.

  • @dfarmbrough Dave Peacock was never in this band, it was Chas Hodges who played bass (along with Mick Burt on drums). However Chas isn't in this clip.

  • @ChasNDaveVideos Thanks!

  • @dfarmbrough Sid Philips and Moss Groves on saxes.

  • @soulgalore Thanks for the info!

  • Incredible voice - and as paulthepill says, great timing as well. I remember liking the sound, but there was something missing in the visuals & stage presence compared to other groups/bands at the time. They looked old fashioned compared to The Beatles, Stones, Kinks, Hollies, Searchers, The Who, Swinging Blue Jeans etc but I can't quite see why... because, Freddie & his Dreamers and some of Gerry's Pacemakers & gorgeous Billy J Kramer also looked a bit dated, even then. Odd, intit?

  • great voice, great timing...
