@nicolek1996 no. but eye drops make it really gooey so i strongly dont reccomend it but others like using the eye drops cos they say it goes on better and it is better for your eyes and stuff. and you will need to use a lot of eyeshadow, like a whole pot like i did because i made a big tub of it to last me like, forever!!!! :)

@TheBrandybray i tried it and it lasted 8 hours but i work 9 hours so after 8 hours i had to reapply it. it really depends on what brand of petroleum jelly you use. i used the same brand in the video you can buy that brand at the dollar store. if that helps. and i have a question. i didnt use eye drops is that ok?

Love this. I'm gonna go ahead and try it. I have a suggestion so that the finished product will look better, try melting the mixture (steam/microwave), pour it into its final container, refrigerate. voila!=)

Thanks! I've attempted this before but I did not add visine. I used white talc powder instead because I watched another video before and the girl told me to use that. Just a question, when applied on your eye, it doesn't dry on your skin, does it? It didn't dry on my skin because Vaseline/petroleum jelly was quite oily and slippery.

@vanessaYEhh nope, it doesn't completely dry on your skin. If I wanted to make sure it didn't smudge I would just set it with eyeshadow. works every time.

@kits6194 yeah the one that i made this time was more gunmetal because i used all my black for the first one that i made that i use all the time. and yes it does go on rather smooth...you can try just vaseline and eyeshadow but i can't guarantee that it will come out the same way...and Merry Christmas to you as well!

@ymlester213 no...they usually put a date on products because that's the date that the product will give it's best affectiveness...in this case we are only using it because it's a sterile product used specifically for the eyes...so outdated or not it will work!

@1AKOO2 i have had no problems with it and i've been using it for months. honestly i would never use anything else. if i want to just make sure it doesn't smudge (normal wear, it doesn't) i just set it with any matte black shadow. i really hope it works as well for you!

You are so welcome! I find the same thing...I don't use the more expensive products because I find that I can use the less expensive ones and get the same result. I find that it usually lasts all day for me. You are welcome to use a liner brush and set the gel liner with a matte shadow to ensure that it lasts even longer :) i really hope you enjoy!
