The short sword is better cus I noticed counter attack is more effective as in HIGH PROFILE. Not only that, short sword comes with its "strategy" too. I prefer the short sword or whatever over the Medieval sword.

The short sword or knife is the best for melee fighting.

Not going to say why either. Im pretty sure keyboard and mouse is better than controllers.

Long sword is good too but its nothing. If you acutally know how to quick switch with weapons, still thinking about chaning mine up. The secret blade and knife combo really good. Same with sword and secret blade combo!!! LOL

Thanks for these videos! I hadn't played AC like in months and I had forgot how to fight properly. I kept getting my ass kicked and I kept dying. But I wish you would've mentioned that in order to do some of these moves you need to gain them back. Like the dodging in 1 of your other tutorials. I kept asking myself, "How the fuck do I dodge?!" And I got the ability 2 do so today. But other than that, I really loved your tips nd tricks!

i am playin ps3 assins creed .. and what is this all about .. with the trisk .. i mean when i just started the game, when i had to pwn those temple riders, i coud make alot of faking awsome combos .. and that i lose all my weps .. and later on i get em back again. but cant fight like i did before? - is it something with skill to do .. every guard u pwn (more skill u get) or how dos it work?

I've countered the guard's grab with [Free Hand] (and perhaps additionally [High Profile]; not quite sure right now). Called «Grab Break». You earn this skill at level 5.

Digital Rights Management ... in this case you are forced to be online all time, your saves are stored on the Ubi server, they exactly know what you're doing. As soon as you go offline AC2 closes. If it were online multiplayer only, okay, but hell, it is singleplayer.

For the assassinations after throwing, I'd suggest not to step, but to exit fight mode (quit lock-on) and run to the enemy on the ground. Faster and cooler ;-)

Like the investigations you do before the assassination memory. At 2:44 I saw 3 icons I haven't saw before on the Rader. Could you tell me what they are please?

Hm. You're not playing the PC version then ;)

One is assassinating a guard (or more) threatening another assassin, then getting rid of some archers (must not see you at all), and the third one ... not sure. Perhaps the VIP mission (you need to bring an assassin to the gate and guards try to kill him.

Na dann. -> Übung. Später werden die Wachen auch mühsamer, weil die Angriffe verschieden lange dauern. Und du musst ja irgendwie 0.2 Sekunden, bevor sie dich treffen, kontern. Und nicht eine Sekunde, nachdem sie den Angriff gestartet haben.

Bei mir hats geholfen, einfach mal ein paar Tage nur mit dem Blade zu kämpfen ;)

No, it's true. They have added additional missions you can do before the assassionation. So it wasn't too bad that the PC version has been released later than the console version :)
