  • Everyone wants pre-1920's programming on TV Land! Buster Keaton, Fatty Arbuckle, Jumpin' Al St. John, Syd Chaplin....C'MON, TV LAND! Pre-1920's...NOW!

  • im all over t v land like kenya waste on a chance to make an ass of himself

  • i wish tv land would air more classics because all they show is crappy sitcoms and reality shows that dont make sense.

  • ya'll think thats bad about tvland-remember AMC, used to show: 'our gang', charlie chaplin shorts, and features, gloria swanson, marlene dietruch movies, john wayne classics-classics in general, what the fuck man! we need nostalgia, and NOW!

  • TV Land and GSN both have made the mistake of bringing on new, original programming. Both networks were much better when they showed the classic old comedies and game shows from way back!

  • It is really a shame what has become of tvland and nick at nite. NAN shows only a few show that were on the air during the 80s and 90s and tvland still has a few decent shows but they have a bunch of crappy programs like their originals. Basically nick at nite and tvland used to show lots of great programs like 5 or 10 years ago when I started watching but now it just aint worth watching anymore.

  • Disney Buff, you keep that up and I'll start to demand TV Land goes back to Pre-1820's television programming! TV Land should show Hopalong Cassidy (created in 1904), Fatty Arbuckle, D the Menace. and Martin & Lewis. TV Land's new shows are like cutting off Mickey's ears.

  • tvland sucks now.

  • TV BLAND

Five minutes of programming to ten minutes of commercials.

  • Five minutes of "bad" programming to ten minutes of "bogus" commercials.

  • TV Land used to get an awsome station, but know I don'y watch them. Worthless programming. Roseanne, Extreme Homemakers, Cougar, How'd you get so Rich.

  • What classic TV shows came before 1920?

  • TV was not around in the 1920s.

  • Wish you were exclusively pre-1920, TV Land!!

  • Get your years straight. If TV Land went before the 1920s, they still wouldn't have "The Facts of Life," or "The Brady Bunch," or "I Dream of Jeannie," or even "I Love Lucy". What exactly did you mean to wish for?

  • @dsneybuf Get MY years straight?? What did I mean to wish for?? Are you serious? Just look at some of the comments posted here! Do you really think I'm alone in wanting TV Land to go back to it's original, pre-1920's programming? When i was your age....

  • Old TV Land = treasure trove

New TV Land = homogenized sea of crap

  • You are so right!

  • Hey, TV Land, How about some pre-1920's programming....NOW! TV Land, you better wise up and give the people what they want--pre-1920's shows!!

  • PRE-1920s!!!!

  • I DEMAND PRE-1920's MATERIAL ON TV LAND!!!!

  • Pre-1920s is what we DEMAND from TV Land!!!

  • just watched TV Land the other day and the feeling wasn't there anymore. I really think that they are beginning to lose touch with the audience they once had. So now they are basically running marathons of shows we've seen a thousand times and promoting awful reality shows that serve no good purpose for the network.

To make matters worse, they're ignoring us. Back then they had shows and specials that weren't so famous but were interesting to watch. Nowadays, you can't find them anywhere.

  • Did you see TV Land recently? Now they are airing episodes of CSI: NY. What the fuck? That show isn't old at all! It came out back in 2005 or so.

Man, Viacom can just go fuck themselves. They don't know how to manage a TV network if their lives depended on it.

  • TV Land USED to be good and now they air the same shows too much. Too many marathons/mini-marathons and that is why I stopped watching. Most of the shows they aired, I record on local stations.

I'm glad WGN is there. At least I can watch old shows there and they have more variety unlike the current TV Land.

  • TV Land has gone from good to bad.

    Not worth watching these days.

  • I so second that. It took the cretins from my cable provider years to add TV Land to my area. I saw TV Land when it had wonderful features like the weekend 'Fandemonium' marathons. Now its is just.......whatever.

If you agree, raise your hand.

  • All this from those same Viacom idiots who seem to think that marathons of America's Next Top Model are a dandy choice for MTV.

I wish some uber-wealthy person would buy enough stock in Viacom to FIRE all these morons!!!

  • If you are sick of the new TVLand please visit their forum and express yourself.

Added bonus the forum moderator TVlink is a douch#bag. Behind the scenes we have a secret contest to see who can get the longest reply out the moron. We actually do not read the replies but laugh our a##es off without him. Points are rewarded on the character count you can get him to reply with. Sign up and you will be contacted by another member.

Come to TVland find the forum

  • I would, but the bastard TVLTheLink banned me, so I can't.

  • Now TV land has "scrubs" on there which is not old at all, and they're putting "3rd rock from the sun" on there in October, so TV land is losing it's Classic TV pride. period.
