There are many people who pay their TV licence who are fed up with the BBC making utterly shit sit-com's. They never come up with original concepts, like other channels, it's always broad gag filled comedies for a target audience, in this case woman. Laughter after each sentence, and a frumpy woman going on about sex, then falling over something every 2 minutes is bad, bad comedy, the end.

All she does is go on about fancying men, and then falls over, and she does that badly...it's absolute tragic comedy...I hate the giggling audience as-well trying to high light that it's funny, with out it, people would just stare at the screen wondering when to laugh, if ever...many critics have slated this sit-com, rightly so.

Not Going Out is a trillion times funnier than this. Alot of the gag's used in Miranda (especially the physical comedy parts) are just copied from other sitcom's or movies. This programme is awful. The only reason I am refraining from cursing is that I know you viewers are mainly women. I watch the first episode of pretty much all new British comedies and this, along with Martin Clunes' interpretation of Reggie Perrin, are a sorry indictment of how far both the BBC and British comedy (in general) have fallen.
