The engines may have changed, the interior may have been spruced up with new technology, but the chassis, sheet-metal bodywork, and main interior pressings are as it was when launched 7 years ago.
I am not complaining, as BMWs vision of Land Rover in terms of brand positioning and products was spot on.
I think there are many decision makers at BMW who feel that Land Rover should have been kept.
The absolute worst vehicle made. Here is a little test if you are thinking of buying one. Venture to their service area and you will notice that every repair slot or garage is always full. Enough said. These vehicles are a disaster in Engine failure, transmission failure and the list goes on. There are plenty of master technicians who will state this. Save yourself the headache. Simply Google Land Rover issues as well if you are not convinced. Buyer beware!
What a load of tosh. People buy Range Rovers because they are the best 4x4 in the WORLD! I am on my 6th and they are far better than any luxury car, let alone 4x4. The only reason you are being so nasty about this car is because u probably havn't got the £80k needed to buy one!!! Get a life.
that is the goddamn point of a 4x4! to drive it on to farms and beat them to death everyday. this car is a vagina off road with those street tires and sadly range rover has turned into nothing but huge on road luxury cars. you want to beat the shit out of one and have an off road experience? get an older one.
99% of people dont go ofroad. and if u r looking for an ofroad one, just get it with the smaller cheaper more ofroad wheels. and theres a diesel option so u can beat it to death everday...
