@FirebirdBeats I understand that, but what I was trying to understand was the point of showing off max settings if you're doing so at a resolution so low that I can't see the game clearly. N64 was able to go up to 480x360 with the exp plug, so it's like watching a modern game at the res of a 15 year old game console, albeit 720x360. That's not including the fact that there are terrible compression artifacts in this vid which further hinders my ability to see what this game looks like maxed.

Saints Row 2 is really awesome, but the PC Version is created so bad. It lags super heavy on my PC, AMD Athlon X2 on 2,4GHz and Radeon HD 5750...you need at least a Quadcore and more than 2GB RAM to make it run good.
The Problems are not the graphics, is the view distance. If you look straight down it runs nice!

@wedran123 Believe it or not you're lucky. It runs at almost twice normal speed on my system, and the cars seem to be made of some lightweight material, like paper or cardboard, as they just get knocked over at the slightest nudge.

Just like GTA it require little to no intelligence to play these games.. You run.. shoot..shoot some more.. shoot cops.. shoot innocent people.. go from A to B.. B to C.. Just look at other games with a dynamic story where everything you do (or choose to say in a dialogue) affects everything around you instantly. This require the player to think more before making a choice. I can't really say that the storyline in either of these games are good. Mass effect 1-2, Vampires masquerade bloodlines and so forth are examples of games with a good storyline.

If you get shot in the leg you're crippeled and you never regenerate and in most cases die after one or two bullets. @glitchman97 Saints Row 2 in consoles lags a lot when there are a lot of ai controlled vehicles around, so its not the best. If this game would be ported properly it would kick consoles ass.
@GTAIVFan17 It runs on its own servers, you can buy it on steam but it wont be on "steam servers" it will be running on the actuall server which is built in the game.
If you switch weapons instead of reloading... you will be able to keep your score up... I haven't played, but I do it on many games to keep firing my weapon.

@glitchman97 Saints Row 2 in consoles lags a lot when there are a lot of ai controlled vehicles around, so its not the best. If this game would be ported properly it would kick consoles ass.

@GTAIVFan17 It runs on its own servers, you can buy it on steam but it wont be on "steam servers" it will be running on the actuall server which is built in the game.

If you switch weapons instead of reloading... you will be able to keep your score up... I haven't played, but I do it on many games to keep firing my weapon.

@gamingg0d6493 gta is pretty kool, but, i have to disagree on that one. You can do a hell of alot more in Saints Row 2 then GTA 4. Graphic wise GTA 4 would win that one. Gameplay wise Saints Row 2 would win that by 1, But im also a GTA fan so its whatever :)
