When the twin towers were originally designed they took into account the fault line, subways weakening the ground, intense atlantic wind storms and hurricanes, and designed them to collapse inwards in best case scenario. Furthermore in 1945 a B25 bomber crashed into the empire state in fog and this cause no structural damage to the building and the towers are stronger then the empire state. When the twin towers were originally designed they took into account the fault line, subways weakening the ground, intense atlantic wind storms and hurricanes, and designed them to collapse inwards in best case scenario. When all the debris was falling from the twin towers, why would it not have effected the structural integrity of a building below it? Specifically a really OLD building like WTC 7.
