I see everyone here loves Ranka more than Sheryl, so do I, but AltoxSheryl all the way. Instead of the common *good girl finds heart in bad boy* we have the reverse, where Sheryl is the one who finds her true side thanks to Alto. I believe that Alto is perfect for Sheryl even though it would mean Ranka not having him. She deserves better than Alto anyway, Ranka deserves someone who will love her, not decide whether he wants her or the hot blonde.

Anata no Oto is one of the greatest sounds to come out of Japan. "Dokun dokun dokun" just gets stuck in your head and is probably the only song phrase that isn't annoying to be playing there 24/7.

2wierd4life, I think you'll enjoy Frontier. It's not just about mecha, although with a Macross title, you *know* there's going to be lots of gorgeous mecha combat sequences. The framework of all Macross storylines is mecha combat, love triangles, and music, as well as how we grow as a society in response to life-changing experiences. It's really well done.
