They did run through 3 different checkpoints all with signs posted in arabic. Also, Sgt. Wintterle was on the west side of the compound. This took place on the east side around the time Aaron got hit in the mouth.
the insugents use buses to move fighters around and later on in the video they say rounds are cooking off which means the ammo that was in the bus was exploading... so no they werent civilians

Wow... When they shoot us, they parade the dead body of the fallen solider through the streets. When we shoot them, we run to see if we can save their lives since they are no longer a threat. Why don't you hear these stories in the news? I bet those insurgents were sure that they were in their final moments when those marines ran up to them. What they received instead was one of the highest human virtues... mercy.

It took forever for them to get the digi cammies out to us in Lejeune. I would imagine that it was the same out at the stumps. I had the new boots but, we got issued the cammies the 3/7 guys are wearing just before we went over in January 2003.
