PLEASE HELP ME TO MAKE THIS DECREASE I CAN NOT UNDERSTAND THIS STEP
Rows 7 and 8 (decrease rows): Ch 3 (does not count as a st here and throughout), sk first 2 dc, sk next ch (decrease made), V-st in next dc, *sk next dc, sk next ch, V-st in next dc; repeat from * across to last V-st, sk next dc, sk next ch, dc in last dc, turn; change to A in last st of Row 8—21 (23, 25) V-sts at the end of Row 8.
@kalybautista Hi, I am not sure what part you are having trouble with. Although these are the decrease rows, you don't need to work any decrease stitches because the decrease is made simply by skipping certain stitches and chains.
Let me know if that helps or if you have any other questions. Thank you!
Thank you, very good video! I have a question - i notice you wrap counter clockwise when you YO in the first 2 stitches. Then, when you YO to pull through all 3 loops, you wrap clockwise. I have always seen people wrap CCW for ALL yarn overs., Is there a reason why you do it 2 different ways? I would have thought that whether one wraps CW or CCW, you would at least be consistent all the way through the work? Thanks so much in advance, i can never find an answer concerning wrap direction!
@j8nnyl Hi, I don't think it matters which direction you yarn over...but yeah you are probably correct it is probably best to keep it consistent throughout. Either way you wrap it, the stitches will be secure.
It's different for me when I record because I have to crochet on the table instead of on my lap and so I sometimes do things without realizing it.
@CrochetNCrafts Thanks so much! i am an eastern knitter, so wrap direction is a major issue, lol, and i didnt know if it were the same for crochet.; thanks again
Thank you sooooooo much, you helped soo much I was going to call my crocheting grandma and ask her over the phone ,but its always hard to just listen and not be able to see!
