this film blew my freaking mind. It's really good! The songs that some of these people write are crazy, and some of them are so convinced that they're going to be a success. It's called Off the Charts, the Song Poem Story, and you should rent it if you want to see one of the most hilarious and depressing scams of all time.

It's called "Off The Charts, the song-poem story" and the film maker is Jamie Meltzer... I saw it on PBS's "Independent Lens" and then was able to rent it from blockbuster online. Enjoy!
