Mashallah. I have the quran recitation by him, the whole quran, and AL-Baqarah is 4 hours long at least SUBHANALLAH and he does it in this style the entire quran. I mean mashallah al-baqarah is not an easy sura to read in one sitting, let alone recite it in this style the entire time. MASHALLAH!!

Yes, before the time of Mohammad PBUH, the Nabatean script existed which served for legal purposes even though it was highly deficient, without vowel marks. There is a qur'an in Cairo Egypt written in the pre-islamic scripture to which I make reference.
