  • Cool video!

  • must suck to get put in one uh' them

  • @F18paperjet Ima fly one of them sooo uh now

  • I was there!

  • wow this was fuckin deep flying´, i think!

  • I think a B-2 Flyover is kinda more cool

  • should of dropped off a bomb hahahaha

  • @PolloKevin It's not a bomber you stupid fuck.

  • I think as a grand finale they should have had the C17 dump fuel over the crowd.

  • @soulsurvivor52784 or pop flares on them

  • @RJFan: looking at its flaps I'd say less than 190 knots, and definitely less than 250 at that altitude.

  • wow the c17 brings many kerosene over the people LOL

  • I wish we did more "PR" flights like this in Canada and that so called Airborne guy is talking out of his ass,we do a lot of training flights to keep up the quals and I would say that this looks like just another training flight.

  • they can take my taxes anyday. You cannot put a price on this type of thing.

  • "SO SHUT UP PUNK!" ???????

way to represent the airborne by telling someone off on youtube

  • Money well spent.

Do you want to mention anything about bush creating the 9/11 disaster while your here??

  • If you think this is a waste of tax money, you don't belong in America.

    The C-17 is spectacular!

  • absolutely! and that thing is a behemoth! I mean how fast do you think she was going? 200, 250 knots?

  • I was at this game in right field the played the brave the C17 flew right overhead best one I have ever seen

  • low and slow!!!! nothing better

  • Like a flying whale! In beast mode!

  • i was there, that fucker was loud!

  • you mean big and loud

  • these planes are freakin loud!! lol

i live by a NAS and army depot and one took off and flew over me as i was walking home.

it made the ground shake a little :P

  • what a sound!!!

  • Wow at 0:27 does he put full throttle on, or is it just the rear of the engines (or both lol)?

  • That just it normally sounding. IF the engines were reving up, you would hear a screeching or high pitched sound.

  • thats a big one.

  • lmao slow but surely

  • Hey guys! Im not from USA but im wondering why some airforce stuff always does an flyby at stadiums and all the crowd goes crazy

  • thats patriotism at its finest!! makes us all go crazy like apple pie or driving a chevy... makes us proud to see what our military can do!! not that its doing much here but the majority of people dont see military planes too often

  • Its tradition that when a big game or race is about to begin, the Air Force, Navy, Army, or Marine Corps do a flyover with an Aircraft stationed nearby.

The crowd goes crazy for a few reasons. First off these jets are loud and most are fast and just seeing them in person makes you go wild, you cant be bored and have a military jet fly over you as a civilian.

Second is we cheer because we love our men and women in the armed services, and are always eager to show our support to them.

  • COOOLLLLLL! What an experience that must have been; what a beautiful plane.

  • I was there that day, most amazing feeling in my whole life! Thanks to you for posting

  • I just got a hard on!

  • my fiance flies that plane. He took me in one several times. I loved it and he loves his job which is a C-17 pilot.

  • such a huge plane...so low...so fast...Wow!

  • i was in that plain no lie

  • i was there! I FEEL SO F'IN PROUD MAN! that is a sight i will always remember! can i get a AMEN!

  • lol this is the highlight of your life.

  • not really, ive seen cooler stuff, but it was AWESOME! =P

  • I was there!

  • I would give my left nut to hear that bastard fly over my house. that has to be the only giant left that can get away with that level of noise. almost reminds me of the 707s. just stubby looking.

  • you sure said it. i was lucky enough to see one of these perform at andrews AFB and i got to go inside a static display, awesome aircraft

  • Youtube, surely the place where people don't take ridiculous shit seriously. Jesus Christ people here.

  • ahahahahah u crazy or something ahah that bird is no where near it

  • LOL Slowest fly over ever + from your point of view it looks more like if its going to crash into Dodger stadium, like Superman the movie. LOL

  • lol it does look like it was about to crash, that shit was probably so loud lol

  • oh yeah, c-17 also can land on short runway coz 4 thrust reversible engine

  • So...the C5 Galaxy is still bigger, correct?

  • Correct

  • Aahhhhhhh but the C5 can't throw a tank out the back in flight!! The C5 is the heavy lifter and does its job well! The C17 is anything, anywhere! I work on 'um in good ole San Antonio every C17 comes to Boeing here we love 'um!

  • I love the c-17, brought me home many times, thanks to the pilots-awesome job

  • you flew i fly f-22 and f-15!!

  • One bad memory:

    I was at The Air Show warm-up. B-52 (WH0000000000000000000000000000000Sh)

    (BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM)

  • SPOOL up at the end was fantastic.

  • LOL it just looks like it floats in the air

  • You know what would be cool? If the military brought in a couple of Harriers and a couple F-35's and had them all go into a hover spread out across the top of stadium. Then they speed away one at a time. How about that!!!

  • ok if a terorist was flying that then pretty good flyover mr terrorist. Pretty good!

  • dude as a c-17 driver i'm offended by that comment, because we crewmembers never, never fly unarmed.

  • lol you're a c-17 driver huh, not a pilot?

  • C-17A loadmaster man, best enlisted job in the air force. we get to do some truely great stuff like airdropping aid and food to poeple that need it when disaster strikes.

  • why didn't y'all drop any food to us in New Orleans after Katrina?

  • we were busy evacing people to texas after katrina hit new orleans, we also brought in food into the airport at the time of it happening and after unloading the food we would load the jet with poeple to be taken to texas.

  • they brought tons of supplies and even stayed over in Biloxi.......

  • THOSE PLANES SEEM TO FLOAT IN THE AIR

  • ive jumped out of those before, and the sound is something you don't forget. a much more exhilarating experience than jumping from a 130. (not that that isn't fun too! ; )

  • That thing is a friggin cow.

  • I love how the engines get loud at the end and then you see it disappear almost in a slow motion way. Looks surreal.

  • they should of got the C-5

  • ow..

  • awesome

  • such a huge plane...so low...so fast...Wow!

  • Hey JesusUCSB when you're done walking across the lake remember and NEVER forget that an ex-DODGER took the Angels to the promised land. "Its time for Dodger Baseball."

  • Yeah I would have love to seen the Chavez LAtrine bombed by an Anaheim ANgels jet! GO ANGELS!

  • I´d rather see 3 or 4 planes there

  • What? You've never been flour-bombing? :P It's fun--you ought to try it sometime.

  • It'd be kind of interesting to see a C-17 drop bombs.

  • Too bad the plane didnt drop any bombs on the Ravine.

  • Cool to see a video of this... I was there too! That was amazing. Great game, too.
