Gentry made a bad decision in the 3rd taking vc out and not feeding him the ball, he had the hot hand all they had to do was feed him, he coulda easily scored 40 pts this game and win it for the suns. Nonetheless another great performance by vinsanity

what stopped vc was alvin gentry...even the suns broadcasters touched on this....vince played under 35 minutes and was takin out in the 3rd quarter..if a guys shootin like that u cant take him out...he was on his way to a 40 maybe even 50 point night..everyone on the floor knew that and kidd was better for vc..kidd looked specifically for vc, especially when he was hot..steve nash doesnt..he mainly feeds the pick and roll which vc doesnt do..how does vc drop 33 points and nash onlyhave 8 assits?

@kingkhan315 Well the thing about Nash is, he's played the same offense for the past, what, 10 years of his career? I have yet to see him abandon an offense to find the hot man like you mention JKidd. The Suns defense/Thunder offense did em in this game. Sure Vince woulda gone for 45, but the likelyhood of winning the game wouldn't have improved that much. But I do agree that you can't sanction playing a hot man under 40min.

@AJVersatility19 your righ about nash but the thinkg is that the entire suns lineup changed the past year..sure jrich was a scorer but in no way was he half of what vc can be..and robin/gortat arnt amare lol..and that nah to even mention how jared dudley and dragic jack up shots like theres no tomm,sure vince migh get 15-18 shots a game but as most ppl can see those are bail out shots most of the time..either when the clocks runnin out or the ball comes his way..(jus post vc on the block) lke nj

@kingkhan315 I definitely agree on the 5sec rule they have. When their offense dies and there's 5 ticks left, they just pass it to Vince and hope for a play. I don't believe the Suns would ever put Vince on block regularly. I don't even think they'll pick up his contract option. Gortat yes is very excited, since the Suns have no need for a defensive player, hence why Pietrus is deep in the rotation, and Gortat is the center of the pick and roll.

@Neptunz05 They won't. Apparently he'll be making too more money than his worth in the league. He'll be a free agent and i imagine he'll be picked up at the Mid Level Exception. Assuming, of course, the CBA runs through smoothly and the lock-out isn't gonna happen. Either way, i don't see anyone spending more than 10mil for Vince, and since he has no Bird Rights, the MLE is all he's gonna get.

I think he got tired towards the end... he kind of forced the shots without people at the offensive boards, he was just locked in and confident in his shot... I hated the ending and the referees.
