Yet another very under-rated band. I saw these guys with Aerosmith back in the day, and they blew them off the stage. If you get a chance to see this band live, take it! Their early blues was great, and hard rock tunes like this one, is their best music. The stuff that hit the radio was just their commercial record label stuff. I saw them again last year (2010) and they are STILL an amazing live act.
Oh yeah! Great White was one band that kicked ass live, well worth the ticket price for sure. They rocked the house. Put many other top bands to shame. Ah, good times!

Great White is just that : GREAT,today's rock is pure shit,a bunch of soulless,talentless boring wannabes,anyone that can't see this shouldn't be allowed to buy music.
The Angels version is way lame. The "solo" consists of a guy playing the same note about 50 times in a row. To even call the "solo" a solo in that version is weak. The vocals are also weak.
The album version of this by Great White is better than the cut down video version. But even played on a broken/scratch record, it'd still be a ton better than the Angels version.

Kind of lost the feeling of the original. However, this version rocks mega, very cool. Great White did an awesome job with this tune. I think we all feel that way from time to time so this tune really taps into something in all of us. Life can really be hard.

I have several Great White albums, but I just bought this one. This song is great, but the album title song "Shot In The Dark" really blew me away. Somebody please put this on YouTube.

As a mad Angels fan from 1978 in OZ, Face The Day was always a great song live.Especially when Rick Brewster got those clever,peak hour city sounds from his guitar and pedals at the start of the song. These guys went ok for me and i have heard a lot worse covers than this one, i'll give you the tip.

I love The Angels orig version way better, but they do it ok, but Jack's scream is lame at 2.30 mark. Sooo Lame!!!! Guitar solo sucks too.

The Angels version is way lame. The "solo" consists of a guy playing the same note about 50 times in a row. To even call the "solo" a solo in that version is weak. The vocals are also weak.
The album version of this by Great White is better than the cut down video version. But even played on a broken/scratch record, it'd still be a ton better than the Angels version.

hey Chevy man. I saw jack last week. I feel so bad. he was in pain. I was backstage some songs he couldnt sing. His friend real tall guy glasses told me. He fell off a ladder and broke his back. Kind of lost the feeling of the original. However, this version rocks mega, very cool. Great White did an awesome job with this tune. I think we all feel that way from time to time so this tune really taps into something in all of us. Life can really be hard.

As a mad Angels fan from 1978 in OZ, Face The Day was always a great song live.Especially when Rick Brewster got those clever,peak hour city sounds from his guitar and pedals at the start of the song. These guys went ok for me and i have heard a lot worse covers than this one, i'll give you the tip.
