@zainuintel .cso is a compressed version of the game. That means it will take up less space on your memory card and it will not affect the game in anyway because it has been compressed. .cso is recommended.

@toufiq121 Your both right and wrong. CSO Does affect gameplay by slower loading times and sometimes even on how many FPS (Frames Per Second) you get. A good example would be GTA: Vice city stories while you will get lag spikes when it is compressed. I changed it to an ISO and boom, smooth gameplay and faster load times...

@thedirtys2006 Do not update from Sony nor from the UMD. This will only un-hack your PSP. Install the latest custom firmware and then you will be able to go on the PlayStation Store and it will not ban you from going online on PSP games.
