I have to say that I've been following Hanson's progress since he was featured in Scientific American. I can say that he is on the forefront of android technology, and though yes the prototype needs work it is still a huge leap in commercial robotics. If I could make one recommendation, after you get all the bugs fix you should try your second line to be similar to Spieldberg's bear in the movie Artificial Intelligence.

They really need to work on the body. The head is cool, all the facial expressions etc, apart from the voice, sounds more like a TomTom. But the body doesn't seem to really do anything, he only conveys emotion through his face, not his body like actual humans, or even a Pleo.

i saw zeno two days ago and a festival in cleveland. he was broken and couldnt carry a conversation.

i really don't like him and the guy with the glasses was saying he thinks robots will become self aware and feel real human emotions in a matter of a few years. it's unsettling.

Can I suggest some things:

1. Do away with lightning bolt eyebrows and hard cast hair; why not offer wig and eyebrow kits so people can personalize their Zeno. Also maybe even the gender could be changed.

2. Instead of hands being creepy clubs, why not have articulated spring loaded hands so he can hold things.
