  • The music is a crap.

  • i5 650 3.2Ghz

    HD 5770 1GB XFX

    8GB of ram

    Windows 7 64 bit

What resolution could I play this game best at max settings no AA?

  • why the hell, do i have 20fps with hd 5770 ,2gb ram, intel core 2 quad q6700 4x2,6ghz?

  • @Kiralein37 you need more ram

  • @Kiralein37 2GB of Ram, and a Core 2 Quad.

    C2Q is previous gen

  • I am building a system with a amd 1090t black edition cpu, G.Skill Ripjaws 2x4GB DDR3 1600MHz ram, Asus M4A89TD-PRO/USB3 motherboard, 2x XFX HD 5770 (xxx edition) and a OCZ pci-e ssd RevoDrive X2 240GB. what level of graphics/fps could i expect to run on this?

  • @krylothe Dont bother with a PCI-e SSD, just get SATA

As for FPS, you could max out anything at 1680x1050 ;)

  • is AA on??

  • Well will it run like this on an Alienware Intel core 13?

  • song goes good with the beginning of the video.

  • your config is almost like mine,i`ll dwnload it

  • from what im looking at....crysis 2 seems worst in graphics. maybe its cus the graphics were on a console system.

  • @xy274 Your exactly right, but Crytek has yet to release gameplay on the PC version of Crysis 2.. So we will just have to wait and see.

  • @jackassunit22 No, Ive seen PC footage on IGN.com

  • @xy274 psh o well its still playable

  • @xy274 actually the PC version is going to have the best graphics. They lower the graphics on the consoles...

  • im getting 21-30 fps with this gpu and i7 930. can you help me?(getting more fps.)

  • @DenKulesteSomFins lower the resolution...

  • @DenKulesteSomFins Its intels fault get an amd dont spend 1k with intel.

  • @SuperSONYdude nope, it is amds fault that has bad gpus

  • @DenKulesteSomFins Yea the gpus are kinda bad so i might get a gtx 480.

  • u have axactly the same spec pc as mine cant wait to play it but i have a better psu and faster ram and my cpu is oc's to 3.5ghz

  • u have axactly the same spec pc as mine cant wait to play it

  • Hey guys, i might be getting this pc: CyberpowerPC Gamer Ultra 2050LQ Phenom II X6 1090T(3.2GHz) 4GB DDR3 1TB ATI Radeon HD 5770 Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit. Could i play this on very high and what kind of fps would i get on average?

  • @IBlackPlague if your going with the 5770 a 6-core might be overkill, you would get around the same fps as me 20-40 on average

  • @jackassunit22 Okay, that's better then i initially expected. Thanks for answering man =)

  • @IBlackPlague no problem, i jsut posted a new crysis vid in higher quality for everyone so check it out if you want

  • @jackassunit22 Okay cool. I'll give it a look =)

  • @IBlackPlague Don't bother with a hexacore for gaming. You're only wasting your money. Games don't take advantage of the cores and you end up losing performance. Go with a PIIX4975 or 965 BE.

  • @JechtAeon Alright, so If I get a AMD Phenom II x4 970 @ 3.5Ghz, and run it with my 9800gt video card, do you think I'd ever lag in games like fallout 3? If I would, what other video card would you recommend?

  • @IBlackPlague If you mean games from the same generation, no, you won't have a big problem unless you're gaming at a high res with everything maxed out. Even then most cards won't net you 60fps under all conditions at maxed out super high resolutions.

  • @JechtAeon I play at 1600x900 with 16x AA and 15 Samples of AF on fallout 3, and I barley lag now, and I have a AMD Phenom x4 1.8Ghz but I lag in bigger areas and I lag when I'm walking in one straight direction for long periods of time (since it has to process/load the areas ahead) so I was thinking a new processor would fix that.

  • @IBlackPlague A faster processor would, not one with more cores and load time can be due to slow ram or slow HDD. A 970 would be good enough. Or just go with an i7 if you want to waste money,

  • how do you have so high FPS? even while recording. i got the same motherboard, an AMD phenom II 1055T X6, a 250/320/1000GB hard drives, HIS Radeon HD 5770 ICeq 5, XFX XXX 650W power supply, 6GB 1600MHZ Ram, and a Cooler Master HAF 932. why do i lagg more than u do?

  • @Nezen3k are you using fraps to record? because i was using another program that is less intensive but bad quality, also a tip to make any game run smoother is by hitting ctrl+alt+del and setting the games process to Realtime.

  • @jackassunit22 uhm when im trying to set something to realtime it comes an error "Unable to set priority to Realtime. The priority was set to High instead" but i have also found out on something else to :P i am running on 1920X1080 in resolution.

  • @Nezen3k ah that explains it.. and yeah for some games high is the most it will go

  • yo, does the phenom use all four cores because i'm on a tight budget yo, and I can afford the phenom II X2 555 black edition 3.2ghz.

  • @marlo1204 if you meant do games use all 4 cores the answer is not really, but they are definatly starting and pretty soon all games will, if you can definatly go quad, if not well, youl still be alright

  • @jackassunit22 thanks, sorry, i meant does crysis utilise all four cores.

  • you should have bought i5 570 instead of adm ....

  • @MrCareLeS and you should have shut the fuck up before making that comment

  • @jackassunit22

    how polite idiot .....

  • @MrCareLeS you think im the impolite one? you got problems

  • @jackassunit22

tell me , how giving an advise makes me impolite ?

  • @MrCareLeS Thats bullshit

The 955 is as good, and AM3 is a much cheaper platform. Compare a P55 motherboard with an AM3 motherbord. Intel mobo's are expensive, but not better.

  • I don't think that Crysis is as CPU intense as people make it out to be it only uses about 40% of my CPU ( AMD 965 @ stock) so I think it is more GPU intense so it is a good thing my 5770 comes tomorrow =D.

  • same here on very high 1920x1200 only 40% of my q9300 is used yet 90% of my 5850 is used, games like bfbc2, gta IV and dragon age are more cpu intesive it seems.

  • Fuck !

i have the same card omg but HIS 5770 hd and a core i5 750 2.66 ghz 4 gb ddr3 ram

and i fucking cant run it on 30 fps on 1024x768 on high only omfg ..

  • @mrgenius4 Update your catalyst drivers and you should see an increase in framerates. This game is poorly optimised. Also, get the latest patch for the 5770, as this has been known to substantially increase performance.

    Good luck.

  • Iv read that people can even run the 5770 on PSU as low as 350 watts no overclocking and Athlon x2 & 1HDD & DVD-RW Drive so this card seems good i would still recommend a 500 watt PSU or better

  • k thanks lol and nice rig

  • I'm going to get this card soon, i'm running

    intel core2 quad q8200

    ati radeon 4350

    8 gigs of gddr3 ram

    windows vista 64 bit

how many fps do you think I will get on crysis? (Yes, I already bought a 650 PSU)

  • @adztermancoool its ddr3, not gddr3 ;) and you will get about 25 at 1680x1050

  • @LFCforEver12341 dude that's pretty sweet.. just gotta save up money :P

  • 700w is good right? Is a 1gb 5870 gddr5 memory with amd anthlon x4 II 620 (quad core) with 700w good enough to max without any filtering aa or msaa?

  • @jackpwnage117 if your talking about the 1gb version definatly, with the 2 gb im not too sure

  • @jackassunit22 So no lag? What if the res is 1280x1024 maxed no aa or filtering? It will work good?

  • @jackpwnage117 you would probably have no lag even at 1920x1080 lol

  • @jackassunit22 a 2gb would be better than a 1gb... idiot.

  • I get about 12 FPS on very high settings with 1280x1024 i got 6 gb ram a RADEON 4550 Quad core 2.7 ghz windows , how much more fps would i get if i switched from the 4550 to the 5770.

  • @TKORob if your power supply can support it you will get an insane increase, probably about the same frames i get, your power supply should be at least 500 watts, preferabley more.

  • @jackassunit22 awesome bro but i reconcidered and im prolly gonna get a 9800 GTX will that do just as good as the 5770?

  • @TKORob no definatly not, but it can run crysis you might have to keep the settings low though, but if your power supply cant support the 5770 and you dont want to upgrade it, go with the 9800

  • @jackassunit22 wow dude u just gave out false information... the 5770 uses less power and owns the 9800gtx....

  • @TKORob the 5770 is way better than 9800gtx and uses less power. the 5770 is way better how could u even think the 9800gtx is good compared to 5770.

  • @neonzion7 cool i ordered the 5770 anyways...

  • @TKORob phew good job =D

  • can i play this game on this card at all nomarl settings and resolution at 1080p

and it still be okay like playstation?

  • @vybzshakur it depends on how good the rest of your computer is

  • Somebody know how to get crysis for free? :D

  • im thinking of getting the phenom II x6 1055t that comes out in a couple of days for my rig that i am building. will the six cores have a big difference in performance over the 965 BE? and what graphics card should i get for a reasonable price? i have the option to buy a used nvidia gtx 275 for $150 au. is this a good card? thanks.

  • @29pwnage the 6 cores wont have much of an effect,if your getting the pc for gaming i would saysave your money on a quad core, but the gtx 275 for 150 is a great deal its a good card

  • @jackassunit22 U lagged on this video. PS! Dont use fraps!! It makes u lagg like HELL

  • @29pwnage Well it depends on the game battle field bad company 2 supports 6 cores so you will see a performance difference in that. You'll only see a perform in non 6 core gaming is if you overclocked the 6 core. The six core processors can be overclocked up to 4.2ghz and thats with the stock cooler.

  • @29pwnage Nvidia geforce is very good. But for HARD GAME playing i would a advise you to buy a ATI radeon grafic card. Well the 5770 series is one of the best out on the market... I think that you should buy a Ati radeon 5770

  • would be able to play games like crysis and bfbc2 on ultra high setings with these specs:

.amd phenom duo core 555 BE

    .ati HIS 5770

.2gbs of patriot extreme performance VIPER series ram

    please respond thanks:)

  • @daxeflame No, even I couldnt run BC2 on highest settings, i think that might have been on the game developers part though. But you shouldnt have a problem running most games on highest settings. Crysis will be pretty choppy, i play on a mix of highest and high.

  • @jackassunit22 i run bfbce on high get abt 40-60fps but cant go higher res than 1366X768 because of my tv

  • @daxeflame that duo core can bottleneck peroformance on games that like quad cores and the 2gb ram may be a issue in games like gta

    but your gpu is awesome

  • alright now I'm upgrading from a 4850 to a 5770 after watching this

  • @green3712 glad to help your decision, you wont be disapointed the 5770 is an amazing card, and doubles in crossfire, and it always stays cool and quiet even on max load

  • @jackassunit22 How good is the overclocking?Whats the farthest you can overclock without liquid cooling.

  • @Daxter609 Well im not sure, i havent really ever needed to overclock so far, but the card does stay extremely cool without overclocking so i would imagine its a decent overclocker at least

  • @jackassunit22 Thanks dude I heard this is a really good card and can handle anygame on max. P.S what drivers were you using? Does ATI overdrive come in this cards catalyst?

  • @Daxter609 Yeah overdrive is there, im always using the latest drivers, not much problems

  • youre telling me a 5770 can play this game on high - very high with 40 fps?!

  • @green3712 usualy around 20-30 it can go up to 40 though yes, i hadnt played it for that long before i wrote the description, i was a bit generous lol

  • hey will this build run Crysis on very high (no AA)

Amd Phenom II x3 @ 2.8 ghz (factory clock may OC to 3.0ghz)

    8Gb DDR3 1333 Dual channel

    500Gb HDD

    Ati radeon hd 5770 1gb GDDR3

    windows 7 ultimate 64 bit

  • A mix of Very high and high should do the trick, definatly go for a quad core though if you're building it yourself.

  • @jackassunit22

i'm on a budget of under 900$ so i'm probably going to overclock ...

btw is 8gb overkill??? i'm not sure if its worth an extra 99.99...

  • I would definatly say cut out 2 or 4 gigs of ram for a better processor, you can always upgrade ram later much easier.

  • @jackassunit22 done it ends up as 897.04$ CAD with tax and shipping here are the current specs cpu: AMD phenom II x4 810 Ram: 4Gb Video Card: Ati H 5770 Hdd: 500gb 7200rpm case: raidmax tornado fan: scythe SCKTN-3000 any other suggestions?
  • Sounds great, the only suggestion I would have is maybe try and get a mobo with dual x16 slots incase you wanna get another 5770 whenever the new consoles come out, also maybe a different case, check out the antec 300 Illusion if you haven't seen it already, the raidmax would do fine it's just a thought, and just be sure to pick up some good CPU thermal paste, phenom 2s can run pretty hot. Good luck with your build my friend.

  • @jackassunit22

the mobo is a ECS BLACK SERIES A790GXM will that work for a second card?

and the antec 300 illusion is over my budget (900) and i already have a layout for the lights on the raidmax tornado so that's pretty much set in stone.

oh and i can cut out on the dvd burner and just put in a reader right? because thats a pretty straight forward job if i want an upgrade? its meant to be a gaming machine not a personal media burner...

    thanks alot btw

  • Yeah it will worth with a second card, I'm not sure if they will both run x8's thought but it should be fine, and yeah you could just get a reader but it'l just be more complicated whenever you want to install something from a cd, and you know your going to get one eventualy anyways so i'd say get a burner, you can find one for about 25 bucks anyways.

  • @jackassunit22

i hear there is screen tearing in anything other than games... is that true??

  • Not at all, not with my setup anyways, yours is pretty similar.

  • @jackassunit22

    ok

btw thanks for all the help

ps: whitch drivers do you have 10.2 or 10.3 beta

  • If you're talking about video card drivers then I'm pretty sure I would have 10.2, it works flawlessly, the only game I've had problems with is Splinter Cell : Double Agent, but that only cause it's the worst port of all time.

  • why did I buy this card to replace a 4850 was that smart. Or did I just loose money.

  • Smart it performs better and DirectX11 unlike the 4850.

  • The magic number for system stability is 3 GB per core or on multi CPU systems 3 GB per core per CPU. Example - 12GB in an i7 system is more stable than 4, 8, or 10. For hardware wise it creates a contiguous memory map. Only buy more than 6GB though if you plan to do Video editing because my computer while playing Crysis only draws about 3.2 - 3.3 GB of Ram. However during video transcoding, all of my 4 Gigs are used and my graphics card spins up to aid in transcoding.

  • Making a build with:

    Intel i7 920

    6GB Ram

    GA-X58A-UD3R Mobo

    And the Asus 1GB 5770

    Windows 7 Professional 64Bit

How do you think it will run Crysis?

  • Yeah definatly

  • Cool thanks! 5 star'd

  • @MrYummyToast good if youre only gonna game you could better take a HD5850 and as cpu a AMD x4 955

  • 5850 is overdoing it.. besides if he wants to upgrade to 2 5770's later itl be quite a bit faster then a 5850

  • im ordering the Powercolor 5770 now for £116 :) im upgrading from a 9600GT so it should be a huge upgrade for me :)

  • Yes definatly, the 5770 is a total suprise to be honest, i think its probably the best price/performance ratio card on the market, and i just cant beleive how well and also cool and quiet it runs. If you have alot of case fans to start with, you will NEVER even notice that the 5770 makes any noise at all.

  • Im upgrading from Accelerator X3100 to HD 5770

  • hey mate nice comp there. im running a single xfx 5770 atm but thinking about getting 1 more to run in crossfire so i cna run crysis without problems over 30 fps.

  • I would say go for it without a doubt, with most games crossfire 5770's almost DOUBLE performance, they are just outstanding cards for crossfire.

  • Nice card mate :)

  • thanks a bunch

  • wow you cld of got higher fps if youre on windows 7 with dx11

  • i am you twat

  • but crysis dosent even support dx11, so it shows you really know what your talking about

  • I will buy

5870 vapor x maybe in crossfire or 5970

    and

    Intel core I7 960 @ to 3.6ghz

  • Were you running this in DX9 or 10 ?

  • DX 10

  • Looks good. I got a E8400 4,0gHZ and a 5770 Do u think a get same performance?

  • you probably should, im not sure becuase you only have a dual core, if you have some good ram you should be able to play it on high settings at least
