I can't stand this video clip it has no imagination whatsoever. I like Sarah but this video is terrible. Symbolism doesn't redeem a lack of concept or a riddled concept. Subtext is fine but something like this is totally lost in pretense.

What's with Sarah Blasko stealing other people's song names? The songs are totally original, except for the names. Bird On A Wire is a Leonard Cohen song, All I Want is a Joni Mitchell song. She's an excellent artist but its a bit weird, that's all.

Seeing that any musician worth their salt has heard of Cohen and Mitchell I find that quite hard to believe.

@gotafunnyface "bird on a wire" has been an english phrase for a long time, at least since Cohen used it as the title of his song. It's not surprising someone else wanted to use the phrase to describe the emotion of their song - people immediately get a feel for someting which would otherwise take a lot of words to explain. As for "All I Want" there are 13 different songs with that title on Wikipedia, not counting Sarah's. Cmon, it's one of the most common English things to say full stop.
