I got a question. when I select the whole sword and I add the glow the whole object becomes blurry. The same happens whith the trail i add the glow and it too gets blurry. Can I get some help on that please?.

You can try decreasing the blur, or adding strength in the filters.

Its just all about the trial and error here.

And you have to make sure you seperate the sword from the trail so only the trail will have filters on it.

Ahaha, yeah right, im too lazy to make such an animation. I just demonstrated how to create an effect as seen in this animation. This animation is an insparation to me as well.

Anyways, on my next videos I'll put subtitles.

This tutorial is mostly about using movieclips and filters to create the trail the swords leave behind after movement. You can summarize all of it like so:

step 1: Draw a white shape that is supposed to be the sword trail.

step 2: Make it a movie clip

step 3: Add filters to it like i've done in the video.

step 4: Use it in an animation.

Rather basic stuff, really.
