  • @HenryTroy715LXIX Which song are you talking about? The Jacksons originated this song.

  • I dont care what public, critics/haters say about Micheal, he was bad, all the young generation got his moves, him and james brown was the orignal

  • I miss Micheal, I dont think anybody can do it better, jame brown too. I love them both and miss them.

  • Wow...I had no idea about this song, only B5's version...Huh..well I just learned something new today... Wow...? :) lol

  • @chelseaajoyy B5's version is WAY down the list.....A group called TROOP made this a big hit again years befoore B5 did "okay" with it.....Nothing beats the original though..;)

  • @miamisteele Yeah, whenever musicians or groups re-make classic songs, it never turns out as great as the originals.

  • for the longest just learned that this is and original.I thought this song was made by the group Troop

  • @dreameryoung38 uh.....I just found out the same thing today

  • The best...all the rest of the covers suck rotten eggs!

  • I absolutely love this song. I always stump my friends when I ask them who made the original "All I Do Is Think of You?" Troop definitely didn't make the original folks :) #ARealMJFanKnowsThat

  • @TeetheSingingBee It's funny everybody thinks troop made the first version then when they here this it's blows them away!!I I love it!!

  • @TeetheSingingBee You're right!!!!! I let my bestfriend hear The Jacksons and she said troop copied them almost verbaitum!!!! lol

  • is there any more live performinces for this song

  • Where's Jermaine? Was this after they left Motown.

  • @loklo101 Yea they must have already signed their new contract by this performance since Jermaine isn't there. They signed a new contract with Epic in '75 but didn't officially leave until '76. So this was in the midst of it all.

  • RIP

  • He is the one and only.

  • Comment removed

  • Is it me or are there only 4 people in the Jackson 5 in this video?

  • @merlinilesjonas no, there are 5. randy's playing the instrument in the back. jermaine had 'left the group' already at this time i guess. there would've been 6 if jermaine stayed since Randy had joined.

  • @merlinilesjonas there are 5 people in this group now. like someone stated, Randy is playing in the back, but also at this time they were going by the name, "The Jacksons."

  • @80sflygirl ALMOST TRUE....this is right in the middle of the transition. Jermaine left just as this album was being released( Moving Violation). The decision was made that they were leaving Motown, Jermaine was married to Berry gordy's daughter so he had to stay. These were the first performances with Randy. The didnt become the Jacksons til the next year "76"

  • I can't get-a-you off of my mind baby <3 Michael love youuuuuuu

  • I'm addicted to this soulful love song :')

  • worst afro mJ ever hard EVER! ( the early 1979 one is a close second lol)

  • Ok now i see were the group "TROOP" got this song from....

  • I can't get Michael off my mind!!!!

  • I like the cover by B5. I heard Troop's a little before theirs but this one is an ultimate classic.

Michael sounded amazing and sexy. =]

  • @ loverlovebug jermaine left the group

  • @ loverlove bug jermaine left the group

  • I like this, but Troop KILLED this song! One of the few times a cover is just as good or better than the original.

  • @feefee451 I LOVED the song before I knew it was s J5 song but I love it MORE now! Old boy from Troop sang it EXACTLY like Michael though don't you think? The music was a little better though. But he really did bite Michael on this song. He didn't change anything or tried to make it his own in anyway.

  • why are there only 4 ?

isnt there supposed to be five ?

  • ; The jackson 5 oesn't think of 14 people :(

  • lol I throught B5 made this song by themselves, but I found out they remade it like almost everybody do now a days :/ but still I like both of them

  • This was the jam It was sung by troup in 1985 but the jacks did it better michael was soooooo sezxxxxy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I like all versions, but this one is probably the best!

  • I didn't know this was done by j5...troop did a good job but they got nothin on Micheal! RIP~~~~

  • i love j5 and b5

  • OMG I thought this was B5's song lmaoooo. Until i went to look up the song today and they said it was a redo of JAckson 5's song.

  • @MekaBossin LOL!! i remember this song when it first came out(i was 7yrs old). Damn i'm getting old

  • b5 aint got nun on j5

  • I was not a fan of michael but i sure miss him

  • i thought troop sang this song first

  • u know its a good song when 2 groups after u redo it

  • I LIKED THIS VERSION. BUT TROOP DID THE BEST REMAKE OF THIS SONG. I LOVED IT BETTER.

  • WHY COULDNT I BE BORN IN DIS ERA MAN!!!!

  • Such a beautiful song.

  • I did not know this song was from Michael.....wow. Miss you!

  • GREATEST GROUP OF ALL TIME!!!!!

  • wow i was 1 years old

  • The Jackson 4?

  • r u kiddinggggg?? wow...no idea...always amaze me...r.i.p micheal and thank u...

  • Great example of The Jackson 5 greatness and how soulful MJ was and is! R.I.P MJ. Glad I was alive during your lifetime to experience your greatness. LGNM

  • I didnt know the jacksons did this song. All I knew of was Troop.

  • yes ,he was feeling it at every performance where Jermaine was'nt on his left...MJ was always keyed in on his surroundings, mic placement, lights, cameras ect. the absence of jermaine hurt but it made it possible later for him to accept the possibility of leaving the band in the future...only a few years later.Lets remember...it was his first time.."out of the box"-this situation along with his occasional solo acts (since age 11) prepared him for what was to come.. ;)

  • Never knew Jackson 5 sang this song...thought it was a Troop original...! Love you Mike!

  • 'All I do is think of you, Michael day and night that's all I do' (l)

  • troop did a slamming remake of this song. but the jacksons did the original.

  • @mattman747 b5 too

  • for those who are comparing this to 'Troop" , this is a live performance not pre recorded or auto tuned. This is and they are the real deal J5 , a Family not a cattle call tried out for the group singers/band.

  • I thought they stopped as the Jackson 5 when Jermaine Left?. Because Jermaine is not on this. Obviously he introduces them as the Jackson 5

  • @nyrichiek This was probably the short period between deciding to leave and finally leaving Motown

  • I thought they stopped as the Jackson 5 when Jermaine Left?. Because Jermaine is not on this.

  • I missed a lot of good quality Michael before I was born, but I'm glad I get to see these now.

  • Troop killed this song! Troop was one of the best groups over the last 25 years.

  • Jackson 5 version > B5 version

  • jackson 5?? shouldn't this be the jacksons??

  • @cruzzo260 no 1976 change the name to the jacksons

  • who the hell is Troop?

  • @wh0m33 They're a male R&B group most popular in the late 80s & early 90s

  • MJ...HE SUNG THE FUCK OUT OF THAT SONG

  • The song was on the Jackson 5 last Motown album "Moving Violation" 1975

  • RIP MICHEAL JACKSON

    RIP J DILLA

    OG's in the game yo

    =p

  • Wow I thought Troop were the originators of this track.

  • HEY, THAT GROUP B5, DID A REMIX OF THIS SONG! ITS A GOOD SONG 2! THEY FIF A GOOD CHOICE OF MAKING A REMIX BY A GROUP!:)

  • Micheal Jackson the ultimate singer R.I.P

  • Jermaine walked out on the group(brothers) before they perform and Micheal was crying and Jackie had to play big brother and help Micheal cope with his leaving. That's the true hollywood story.

  • DILLA DILLA DILLA

  • Man I do not know which version of this song I like the most. The Jackson 5 or Troop. Skip it I like both versions.

  • B5 who?!?!?!?!?! LMMFAO!!!!!

  • So B5 copied...huh?

  • @Imabeautyqueen87 same thing i said LOL

  • i never knew they made this song

  • wow, i have'nt heard this song since my teen years;and still sounding good. these brothers was one of a kind, and can't be duplicated. R.I.P. michael. love ya'

  • Michael was the only true talent in this family. The rest of the brothers were simply background singers. I seriously doubt that Tito was even playing the guitar and we all know that they were dubbed over in the studio. So the brother's were only used for show.

  • @checkers1245 ahhaha your funny :)

  • @checkers1245 , that's because you don't know your history. Tito started playing the guitar when he was eight years old. They were all very talented, they actually sung acapella harmony, which is not easy to do. No need to put the others down, they are brothers and all contributed to the success of the family. They are indeed a model, especially for today's often manufactured talent, where half the singers sing off key and cannot put on a good show without props, or cursing the audience out.

  • @torrencebrannon

Oh please, Tito was not playing the guitar at 8. And as far as talent, if they were so talented, then why did Motown dub the other brothers over in the studio? Michael didn't need therm. MiJ could have made it on his own without them even when he was a little boy. You see they aren't worth shit now. They were just cute little boys and when they got older, that cuteness and charm wore off and people saw they didn't have any talent. Just like Bobby Brown.

  • @checkers1245 your opinion is yours But your full of Shit the Jackson were a family of talented young men..Michael could have had some sucess as a solo back then But back in the day MJ strength was stronger being part of a singing family..thats the way it workred back then..MJ had solo hits without the brothers his solo albums (Music And Me )didnt really do much .Soon as he did an album with the brothers the hits sored.. some fans weren't ready to see the brothers break up and Mj do solo

  • @MRJACKSON19581

Oh please. Michael would have been just like Justin Beiber is on his own. Little girls all over loved MJ and little boys wanted to be like him. He could have done it without his brothers.

  • @checkers1245 MJ was not a huge crossover sucess back then Sure he had whites blacks and alraces buying his music..But that mas appeal to a huge ordiance outside the black community was stil lingering to a degree..Motown marketedMJ thru the group as lead singer of the J-5 Like I said MJ solo albums after "GOT TO BE THERE" AND "BEN" didnt do so well. FACTS

  • @MRJACKSON19581

Bullshit! When the Jackson 5 first came out they marketed them as a group until they saw that Michael far out shined his brothers. The only reason they didn't break up the group back then is because Joe would have made a big stink out of it. Michael was clearly the miracle in that group. It happens with all groups. Just because a few MOTOWN written hits didn't make it, doesn't mean Michael couldn't have made it without his brothers. That was Motown writing bullshit songs

  • @checkers1245 Sho nuf Motown didnt write produce th best for an artist like MJ solo albums....But thers othe factor that would have kelpt MJ frombeing a major sucess back then..( If MJ had MTV and VH-1! to help[romote himselves back then he may have made it as asolo artist BIGGER..But not without either he would have had a few hits which he did ..if he had gone totally solo It would have been over thats th TRUTH...Thats just how the music biz was then..

  • omggggggg i love this version... i thought troops was the best BUT* not anymore

  • man the way he sings 'please be mine' is awesome

  • we love you michael

  • Damn I had no idea tha Jackson 5 did this song first * SMDH*

  • WOW i didn't know the jackson 5 sang this songs!

  • I thought ,this was Troop song, i guess i was wrong, RIP Micheal

you were far ahead your time.

  • @gaddyify there is another version with the troop

  • @gaddyify Ya they 90-ified it - but it's a J5 MJ classic! :)

  • @gaddyify don't feel bad. I'm 48 years and I thought this was a Troop song.

  • @gaddyify Me too, I didnt know the Jacksons sang this song first OMG!! But Troop Did a Dang good job though both versions sound good Michael is blowing but I LOVE TROOPS the most THOUGH!! Thats all i've known all these years.

  • @gaddyify TAMMI TERRELL.. 1ST AND BEST IN MY EYES

  • @gaddyify you should listen to the J5 album version. Jermaine was missing from this performance. MJ and Jermaine sang lead on this tune. This performance was during the "split" days (Epic and Motown). It's on the Dancing Machine album. So funny. When Troop did it, I called it a sacrilege and a crime against humanity. lol (I'm of the J5 generation).

  • @kevc21 Hey: Just so you know, this song's from the Moving Violation album.

  • @gaddyify You think it's a Troop song because you're a young douche who has no concept of piece of shit groups copying off the legends. I suppose you like Justin Bieber covers. Shit4brains.

  • @waterfordpuplets It looks like somebody really needs a life. calm down. It's not that serious.

  • @gaddyify That's what I thought too when i first heard it in the early 90's.

  • @gaddyify me too, i so thought this was troop

  • @gaddyify me neither! MJ is still wowing ppl

  • The Times they are changing.... its true,... i just wish, i was born in the 50's.... today its all about justin bieber nd crap... and im sick of it.... i hate today's pop.... the pop these days is turning into punk rock....and i hate punkrock... its all bout showing off without the skills.... Man... these people enjoyed a hell of a time those days huh... Rip MJ...

  • @girlnamedterry You are so right... I very much concur with you... Look at what pop music has become... from MJ to Justin Bieber... It's a sad thing

  • @girlnamedterry WOW Nicely said. No skill required anymore! Just lack of shyness.

  • Troop did a good remake of this song!

  • I miss you, MJ. Love this.
