  • if you're making a baby blanket, when you cut out the 4 corners, does it have to be 4 inches? or does the measurement change because the blanket is smaller?

  • Not bad, but you didn't show tying the knot.

  • thats a HUGE ring!

  • Why do you cut out the 4 inch squares?

  • @iSamanthaLee I keeps the blanket from pulling in a weird way when you pull the ties tight

  • is it 2 yard for top 2 yard for the bottom

2 yard for both top and bottom

  • Great tutorial!

Our Girl Scout troop will be doing this as our service project.

They are in the 4th grade.

Could you take a wild guess as to how long it takes to cut the 4 inch fringe all around and then tie them off on a 3 foot by 4 foot blanket?

( I will pretrim the materials and maybe even put the clothespins on before they begin)

    Thanks!

  • My favorite video of yours is the one where we got to listen to the babys heartbeat at 19 weeks. I just love the sounds of the heartbeat. Makes me miss hearing my Little girls heartbeat when I was pregnant, but having her in my arms to play with is even better.

  • So if a standard fleece tie blanket is 1 yard, how much should I use for a baby blanket?

  • @Misstwilightobsessd or is 1 yard a kids blanket and 2 yards is an adult?

  • I have always wanted to make one of these, my little guy is now in a toddler bed and I don't have the time to make him a full quilt, I picked up some Disney Cars fabric for him to do a toddler size quilt and it's currently sitting on a shelf :( This is a far faster option and it looks great! If only they made cute fleece prints for boys though! I may just have to do 2 solid colors together, if I make this I will let you know how it turned out your video was very helpful thank you!

  • love it girlie great good

  • Selvage edge.

That clothespin idea is pretty neat. I will have to use that next time.

  • @TheAppieShow thanks!

  • Cute design....thanx for this vid, I'm gonna try to make one for my 2yr old girl!!

  • How do you do these crafts without Liam getting into the project? I have a two year old and if I am doing something crafty all he wants to do is be right there in the mix. It gets so frustrating. I would LOVE to craft more. But it is more stressful then fun at this point. Suggestions PLEASE! :)

  • @maddie0106 I try to give him is own project to do....but I also have sets of toys packed away that they dont see very often so if I need to keep them busy for a few I pull out on of those boxes and it's like xmas!

  • Great Video! Cant wait to make one.
