if you're making a baby blanket, when you cut out the 4 corners, does it have to be 4 inches? or does the measurement change because the blanket is smaller?
Hey everyone.. Not trying to spam... But please check out my channel... Brand new, 1st video up 2m! ;) I really enjoy doing crafts and I just want to get my channel started.. THANKS!
lol I love how you deal with your son and just keep right going! Thanks for making these instructions so easy. Some of the tutorials I've seen are ridiculously hard.
I'm a high school student that's doing this project to help Leukemia patients, and this helped me understand how to make it alot better. Thank you very much!
How many yards would be needed for a full size bed? The measurement of it was making menthink two, but you said you used two for a twin. Hmmm. Thanks!
My favorite video of yours is the one where we got to listen to the babys heartbeat at 19 weeks. I just love the sounds of the heartbeat. Makes me miss hearing my Little girls heartbeat when I was pregnant, but having her in my arms to play with is even better.
I have always wanted to make one of these, never really realized how simple they are. Might go pick up some fabric to make my son a blanket. Thanks for the video!
Neat! I never thought of doing a blanket like that, very quick, must be so satisfying. Now I must find other fabrics that don't frey (fleece gives me the willies)
This is awesome! something so simple but looks fantastic and super cuddly for the little ones =) Thanks so much for the upload. Your boys are so adorable full of life and definately not bored children lol your such a wonder mum!
I have always wanted to make one of these, my little guy is now in a toddler bed and I don't have the time to make him a full quilt, I picked up some Disney Cars fabric for him to do a toddler size quilt and it's currently sitting on a shelf :( This is a far faster option and it looks great! If only they made cute fleece prints for boys though! I may just have to do 2 solid colors together, if I make this I will let you know how it turned out your video was very helpful thank you!
How do you do these crafts without Liam getting into the project? I have a two year old and if I am doing something crafty all he wants to do is be right there in the mix. It gets so frustrating. I would LOVE to craft more. But it is more stressful then fun at this point. Suggestions PLEASE! :)
@maddie0106 I try to give him is own project to do....but I also have sets of toys packed away that they dont see very often so if I need to keep them busy for a few I pull out on of those boxes and it's like xmas!

Why do you cut out the 4 inch squares?
iSamanthaLee 5 months ago
@iSamanthaLee I keeps the blanket from pulling in a weird way when you pull the ties tight
JPSUESS 5 months ago
is it 2 yard for top 2 yard for the bottom
2 yard for both top and bottom
kiara402 5 months ago
Great tutorial!
Our Girl Scout troop will be doing this as our service project.
They are in the 4th grade.
Could you take a wild guess as to how long it takes to cut the 4 inch fringe all around and then tie them off on a 3 foot by 4 foot blanket?
( I will pretrim the materials and maybe even put the clothespins on before they begin)
Thanks!
