It being like earth is all the more reason for it to be creation, of man, unfolding before your eyes. It shows where the ideas of humans came from etc. This is a translation of times. Does Earth's history not have a past? Nowhere does it say that at the moments its speaking of now are they creating man. That does not come until later. The first chapters are just history leading up to the arrival at earth and mans creation. The actual creation does not come till chapt. 6 i do believe

I don't get it. This seems to be taken as literal. The planet described is too much like earth, the way of life too much like earth. King lists ect, this is valuable because in among the myth is the history and thought of a lost civilization. This is not our creation being unfolded before our eyes, the primitive way of life does not match a race that could create life. Grateful to the one who posted these. Great work,
