I have a very similar station. 8 tracks, each with it's own RS-NOR latch, and an automatic stacked cart storage system. I'm curious as to why you need to run wires between your stations, though. The longest track on my server is about 1000 meters, so running a wire wouldn't be an option. Does each station need to know there's an incoming cart to function properly, or is it just to let users know that someone is on their way down the track?
hey, can i have your save file? i have a minecart system but each rail has its independent entrance, i'd like to do something similar to what you did :) Thanks for the video!
@LightRP The switching computer is modular, each module being an RS-NOR. Their main lead is connected to the switch in the room, the rs leads for every other module, and to the tracks they are supposed to control.
If you activate one of them they enable their tracks and disable every other connected module.
@LightRP Basically the switches there stay on until they receive confirmation from a box I put between the switch and the computer. That box waits for a confirmation signal from the computer before turning off. That way it stays on until the signal has been totally transmitted, but not any longer.
OKay... I need tutorials.. for Every.. And I'll say again.. EVERY.. part of your system :P. I only have a minecart Q with water, and some boosters spread around oO..
That is awesome...I am fairly new to the minecraft world, and was wondering what the red ore was for...I am going to have to experiment around with it. Well done on your set-up
This looks interesting but I really can't stand listening to people who don't push enough air through their vocal cords when they speak. Unusualbob, I'm sure you're a cool person already. You don't need to do this to sound nonchalant, detached and jaded.
Probably been asked already, too lazy to look, but do you have this saved? Like, can I download it somewhere?

@unusualbob I see. How did you get the redstone to go so far to the furthest switch?

Do your "telegraph" wires that carry signals between stations use one line per binary signal? or can you you transfer the data serially?
