London is old, they have a history for everything. It is a traditional society but are generally fair. I am a muslim but I hate the arabs and their behavior it is anything but Islamic. there is no justice in their society. The first thing in Islam is ADL but having lived in Dubai and seen Arab society first hand it is anything but it. they all want fast money by doing nothing reproduce like rabbits with 4 wifes and still look for prostitutes to fulfill their desires.

I have seen workers being unpaid for 6 months while the arbaab is happyly holidaying in UK with his entourage of 12 kids and 4 wifes. Is this Islamic? but when they see a white guy they fall on his feet, this is known as over compensation in psychology and is attributed to people with low self esteem.I know you wont have an answer to that. you can never. and again don't mix up a few incidents with actual facts. south asians are treated really badly in all neighboring countries while live like they never dreamed of living here in Dubai. Check the construction workers issues in Dubai and compare them to other countries in the GCC/ or MENA.
These guys can barely buy a slipper in their counties and they are being treated better by the minute in Dubai.

ABu Dhabi is also an emirate in those 7 emirates that make it the UAE. if theya re one why do you have Dubai police and sharjah police why not UAE police. these are in effect different coutnries with different state budgets unified by an army and currency thats all. All those grandiose projects have come to a naught no-one is gonna live in the desert islands anymore. I was a project manager there for 6 years before I came back to the US. I know first hand how south asians are treated like slaves

not exactly, Oil counts for 6% of Dubai's GDP. Trade is the most important sector of Dubai's GDP also add to that Tourism and industrial sector specially ( Dubal) Dubai aluminum ) one of the world's largest.
Dubai's GDP is quite diversified but the sky is the limit. Also Thank God for the Financial Crisis :)

i think the middle east countries would really be in trouble when oil runs out BUT when the Sheik of Dubai was interviewed about his hotel (the burj al arab), he said the reason why he is doing his very best to make it as beautiful as now is because He wants to make Dubai a top tourist destination in the world. In fairness to the Sheik, he knows what he's doing. He himself believes that oil will surely run out, that's one of his reasons why they are reinventing Dubai

The only reason dubai are building all this becuase it is bassically one of the richest places in the world. They have alot of rescourses. I positive the biggest oil exporter in the word which is where they get all there money from. And they are also the biggest tourist city and shoppy district.

you asked what will happen if they run out of oil, will my answer was nothing because they managed to diverse the sources of their income,abu dhabi is now following duabi's lead, by 2015 Abu Dhabi's yearly income is expected to rise to 350 billion dollars, and only 40% from it's income will be from oil, now it makes 70% from its income,so I think they will still be rich even if they lose the oil,because they invested their oil in better sources of income (real estate and tourism )
