What I love about theme song the most is probably how organic and real it is. The kids' singing isn't the prettiest by any stretch of the imagination, but it's so real and summer campy that it's as perfect as it gets.

The second season intro was great, just from Budnick singing, then Ug singing but getting nailed in the face with water, and Budnick going on like nothing happened.  Still makes me laugh.

i loved these old shows, they were so raw and they did so much with small budgets and crappy props

shows today are so lame, completely over-polished, everything feels so sterile and planned...its because these greedy corporate assholes dump millions of dollars into the shows and the actors are all scared to fuck it up

shows should be simple and fun, you dont need a movie budget and state-of-the-art soundtracks to have a good show...they are trying waaaay too hard

Yeah. 1996 [last summer they were open], I was 6-going-on-7, but there still was PLENTY of things for us "littler tots" to do that involved injury, near drowning, et cetera.

2 summers ago I went back after 13 years, and although the place was different as Mountain Creek, the vibe never left - evident by the nearly facing head trauma on the Colorado Rapids, and being told by the lifeguard stationed at Kamikaze [RIP to a simple, kickass ride] about the back injuries a week prior to my visit. :D
