I have owned a lot of exxy gear, and the latest Fender USA Strats aren't that great...for the value (if you perhaps change the pups and nut) are pretty good, I have owned 4 of them,,,a lot of fun and value!!

ya know whats cool about SX is that a peice of wood to build a guitar body is around 100 to 130 dollars, but these guitars are only 100 dollars and youre getting a full guitar

have you played one? theyr better than most MIMs ive played. of course pickups need to be changed, but even with a new set of pickups theyr still less than half the price of a MIM

I second. I love my strats I have both an MIM and an SX. the stock pickups on the MIM are definitely better, but the built quality of the SX is fantastic... and I'll take the SX neck over the MIM any day, period.

i rarely see anyone keep there SX guitar fully stock. Usually more than one thing has to be replaced and it's all very simple modifictions that you can do your self or have a profesional luthier do. i own three sx guitars and i sx bass and i'm very happy with them after some minor modifications that i did.

@swrnc Well nearly everyone says they are good. So do I. They are amazing guitars for the price. Good enought to play professionally once they are set up. - the stock pickups are good.

My SX Strat is very good guitar. Is very similar original Fender. I make upgrade - change all pickups to alnico. Really vintage sound. Play another Youtube sites with SX strat sounds, all is OK. I compare my SX and old Fender Stratocaster. SX sound is 95% to original.
