I think the game is great. But since Escape from the Monkey Island, I think we expected bit too much. In my view, there are only 2 things missing. 1, a constant piratey music (which we constantly heard in every background in EfMI) and 2nd, the environment was too dark at times when I was expecting it to be open oceans and jungles not in the stomach of big fish or Hearafter. Yes it has Jungle but only for a short while. What about Pirate towns? But the game is excellent. a must play if ur MI fan

Because of the rumors that this game is bad, I waited a long time to give it a try. Now I wonder if the people who are bashing this game ever played it. Tales of Monkey Island is awesome. I like the Story, I like the new Charakters. The Jokes are Funny and if you played MI 1 - 3 there are many nostalgic moments in this.

Monkey Island 4 was released in 2000, and so many people hated the way it was made. Its fans were much younger when they played the earliest ones, and are older now, and I can understand that they want it to appeal to children who are children now, but why can't they draw it like the 3rd game? I suggest people play it or watch a newer trailer before judging. The game has changed a LOT since this video.
For starters they got rid of that voice actor for Le Chuck and got the original back. Improved lighting. And the game is fun and funny.
Plus it controls like MI3. Just 3D. It's wonderful.

I'm sorry, I've somehow managed to overestimate your intelligence.
I'd use it in any of the situations those apply to. Hayden used it to question your credibility due to poor spelling. If someone was telling me about a surprising event and I knew they were a frequent liar, I might say that they lacked credibility.
Use your imagination; the word can be used in innumerable situations.

I know that 3D is way cheapier but I mean .. the creators didn't have to think about the money (i know they did) instead of making this game another brilliant expansion .. I feel sad =/
