  • I freaking love him!!! Such a moto n inspiration!!!!!!

  • david goggins is a freakin android! lol

  • good god! poor man

  • I run my heart out 3 days a week in the hot afternoon sun, always 165 bpm or higher, come dangerously close to passing out - the worst seems to hit after I stop running and just wanna collapse and have a whiteout. I can definitely imagine how he feels after this race. It puts you pretty much in a bad mood, sorta out of your mind.

  • No use to look back, no use to look down. Pain! Feels good! Great Duff Goggins! 6.91' per kilometer... a hell of a pace.

  • @190lbs, not huge, but not your typical petite woman sized male runner......and still a elite warrior....the dude is the next breed of evolution...

  • I met him today he came to talk to my cross country team and he is definitely a great mentor and worrior to look up to.

  • if i understood well this guy just finished a race that took him 25 hours to complete whoa nicely done

  • Can't get enough of David's video, each one is more motivational than the last. What socks did he say he switched to, smartwool?

  • so impressive. Poor guy - he's sittin there with Zero energy, and i'm sure the last thing he wants is to have to think and talk. at the beginning i thought, he's not gonna be able to talk. but anyway, Big Thumbs Up. Incredible

  • he's so tired he can barely speak

  • ya. he's a tough guy for sure, that run didn't make him soft he's still pullin fast show lines.

  • Motivating!

  • absolutely amazing!

  • I'm sure he's absolutely ecstatic about his time and 3rd place finish, but as he says, "I have nothing left." He's absolutely drained of everything. Similar to most finishers of Badwater - they don't seem very happy once they finish, but it's only because they don't have the energy to express it! A great documentary about Badwater is called "Running On The Sun" - worth checking out.

  • His story inspired me to run 40 miles in under 10 hours but I couldn't fathom running 135 miles in 130 degree heat - these are true warriors.

  • that is impressive. I bet he could have kept going until his heart stopped beating...

  • Wow...this guy is amazing !!!

  • I saw this guy speak, he ran for 45 hours in which he ran 250 hours, this is no joke.

  • I didn't hear about him until I watched the L Studio video about him- has anyone seen that yet? This guy is seriously dedicated... on his own level entirely

  • He ain't shitting when he says "I got nothing left"

  • Wow that's over 25 hrs of running!!! Unbelievable, unimaginable!

  • i just learned about this guy and have been reading up on him...HOLY S*#T!!! Dude came in second place at UlTRA MAN and did the 250+ mile bike portion on a darn rental bike cause he didnt own a bike. BEAST.

  • This man is an ultra marathoner, a navy seal, a power lifter and yet after the race he is slow, lathargic, and almost broken, it just goes to show what hell this race is, and that it takes men among men to compete in this race I hope to someday get a chance at this race Ive worked up to fifty milers and look forward to getting further, David also gives me hope that a big man 190lbs can compete I myself am a lean 185lbs, great job David you are the man!

  • if he the size of akos he would run a 21 hr

  • David is the man. I met him briefly at Ironman Hawaii in 2007, and am looking forward to seeing him at some future ultras.

  • Daivd Goggins = Beast

  • He just came to our school. He was pretty much the coolest dude I've ever met. His advice and experiences will definitely inspire the people in my school to do better.

  • David is a machine. I had the honor of having my butt handed to me in a 48 hour race, last weekend by him. And to top it all off... he is really a nice guy after running you in the dirt. The World needs more guys like him..

As you would say, David... "Stay Hard"

    -k

  • David,

You continue to inspire, you are truley a Man above Men. I hold you in the highest regard and salute you.

    A Friend from New Jersey.

    William Dennis Brown Jr.
