AOC really does beat WOW for a short time... The gameplay is amazing at first but past 20 on aoc its the same shit pressing 1 2 3, 1 2 3, 1 2 3 And you dont need a 3k plus comp, all you need is about 300 bucks to upgrade your comp for a decent graphics card nothing fancy and like 2k more ram to run it smooth. WAR on the other hand blows away WoW and AOC any day and so far i havent gotten bored once. RVR is amazing so i recomend WAR.

HoX is nice for DPS but low defence, DT is the total opposite of it and has low-normal DPS but a high defence and Life-stealing!

I got to 63 and stopped playing. The graphics are amazing, best sound I've ever heard in an MMO, fatalities are fun, the quest are kind of standard but the quest text and flavor was great. It had all these great things going for it but, the game just feels like it's missing something and I'm not sure what. I'm going to give it time to bloom and see what happens. For now though my account is canceled.

@TheMuslumPedophile I don't have any plans to go back atm. Too many other games keeping me busy. MW2, Mass Effect 2, Bio Shock 2, Monster Hunter Tri, SCII beta and Dragon Age Origins to name a few. As for mmo's I have my eyes set heavily on SWTOR. I do really like AOC but none of my friends play it anymore which will make going back pretty hard. I'll give the expansion a look over as I haven't checked anything out about it yet. Maybe I'll give AOC another go in a month or so.

i played both when they came out, and aoc was a hell of alot buggier than wow. funcom was out of funds so they release the game before it was finished properly. theyre talking about an expansion 3 months after it its release.blizzard had revenue from their other top selling games like warcraft 3, diablo and starcraft, and so they waited until it was finsihed for release. no matter what people say, when people hear mmo they think of wow, end of. aoc isnt going to change that

green is stamina it determines how long you can sprint and you many of you skills you can use. If your green bar is empty you can use any of your special abilities.... Luckily DTs have a skill to swap life for stam :)

Yeah he was a blast to play. He can stay alive if you get the combos going right. If you do them at the wrong time you can actually kill yourself faster. It's a fun class and with some play time and skill behind it I bet it will be pretty powerful.

Kind of... Out of the Soldiers (warriors) the Conqueror is prob the most DPS oriented. While the Dark Templar has high DPS, it's more random as most of it is based off of procs. The nice thing about the Dark Templar is that these usually heal his health, mana or stam. This makes him a pretty hard opponent to face. I really wish I had a better video for you guys. Before they lifted the NDA I had some really good play time with this class. It can be pretty powerful!

Yeah, I went both ways with the Dark Templar, one of my favorites I played though. It seemed like he could die a lot of times and other times he was solid. I got a few fatalities off with him, it's just a shame I didn't get them recorded.

My experience with the dark templar was great. I found I did awesome with defensive stance, procing life leech and the weapon debuff and spamming combos.

i played the dark templar too during the pvp beta weekend and i thought it was very hard in pvp since the dark templar doesnt do as much dps as the other classes. Not much offesive spells do direct damage, mostly just life stealing.

Thats what Dark Templars are. They do good DPS if you play them the way they are meant to be played, but they are mostly endurance. Like you can sit there for a long time pulling off some like 50-60 damage hits as you drain his life so you just keep going.
