i seen lights in the night sky kind of like this except they were grey and looked like clouds. they would keep dissapearing and showing up in random places. does anyone know what this is?
Zocann and miniwyo you're both wrong. The magnetic energy is not hitting the earth. Energized particles from the sun are interacting with the magnetic fields that are emanating from the Earths magnetic core. So Zocann theres no light coming from the earth and miniwyo we are not being hit by anything magnetic.
I am disappointed at the comments - The Aurora borealis is not a light show, it is light emanating from within the earth. This is proof to me that the earth is a vesel with outer shell and an inner world. Welcome Hollow Earth!
ummmm, actually, it is magnetic energy hitting the earth from space. and the earth is not hollow, The very core is solid, then the outer core is liquid, the mantle is a molten rock that is somwehat like molten plastic, just kind of sticky, and then its all topped off by the crust.
i think this is one of the more stunning displays of the Northern Lights. Every little bit of it is truly an amazing piece of natural art...so beautiful to watch, it must be breathtaking to be able to experience it live, wherever you filmed it. thank you very much for sharing. please continue!
It's so amazing to watch the stars move across the sky -- and then there's that little jolt when I remember that the EARTH is moving. Kinda gives you some perspective, just like visiting a planetarium! Thanks!

Impressive. Two high altitude phenomena, Aurorae and Noctilucent clouds seen together.

wow is that a meteor flying across the sky in 00:05-00:06?
Jacdagirl94414 4 years ago
An aircraft flying
hydrogen800 4 years ago
More than likely an airplane. At this speed, you more than likely would not see a meteor at all.

yes, its an U.F.O.

Cool, you can even see the 3D-ness of the stars when they move faster.
jodieleate 4 years ago
All the stars are moving the same rate. None are moving faster than the other from Earth's POV.

Wow! Your video is a dream come true for me! I've always wanted to see the Northern Lights! A grateful local from Sunny Singapore

sjpones3 5 years ago
The zigzag lines are probably fire flies.. however if you look closer at the sky, you will see a couple of meteors! :)

Lol, I never thought about the mysterious objects being "bugs". Thanks for clearing that up. Keep posting these vids, they're great.

Your vids are great, but you have to tell us, what are the lights that zig zag, circle, and just plaing jump all over the place? Helicopter(s)?
UgieandYak 5 years ago
These streaks are from insects flying near the camera . There is a spotlight next the the camera that illuminates the insects.
