  • Good man..good piece..good memories. People.who play piano can travel anywhere they want.

  • @MythiasBersker it completely agree! it sounds so poetic...

  • btw mistake at 2:08 :)

  • There is anyone who can send me the sheet music, please??

  • @Giamelis

tell me your email adress in message

  • you skipped the whole opening?

  • @dasteufelhund yea, to me, I felt like the opening didn't really fit with the rest of the song. I felt like it was just random improv and not necessarily "playing love" and was before he saw the girl

  • @xuan135 totes ;)

  • nice job. upper register is out of tune a bit. practice your pedaling, good job!! A+!

  • Give me your e-mail adress and the name of the song if you want the sheet music / JB

  • you do it very very well, and i will do it someday

  • You played this so beautifully...it bought tears to my eyes...magic!

What a blessings you are dearOne

  • dov'è l'introduzione?

  • what's the name of the one that he plays when he goes to see the girl in the lady's bedroom? the one with the cool dissonance. It's like only 4 notes, but it's awesome.

  • Uh I'm pretty sure its called The Crisis, very good song actually, its a good song for people who cant play very fast.

  • It's wonderful.

  • Where's the beginning? Must have the beginning maestro!! ;)

  • Yes, that would be the most difficult but the big part that a player can show off. This player did the good job for the rest of the piece though.

  • do you have a midi for this? I cant read sheets!

  • sorry unfortunately I don't :( but I'm sure you can find one if you google it.

  • maybe too fast at some points, but good job! :)

  • This song made me want to learn how to play piano lol. It's got so much feeling I love it.

  • this is beautiful. this part ofr the movie made me almost cry. it was so heartfelt.

  • yea! when i first heard the song i was like i just had to play it.

  • the movie is wonderful. its a shame not many people have heard of it!

  • shaun1914

    I Agree with U

no one do it like 1900

  • great work, i love this song

  • its very well

  • Hi! I plan to make this piece my 2nd recital piece with the intro. :) I like the shine of your piano. :)

  • thanks! good luck!

  • Franchement, bonne interprétation ... bravo, continue comme ça.

  • Ask you parents to have that piano tuned please ! And if you try and get that sustain pedal under control, this could be a nice piece of music. Keep practicing ! And thanks for sharing.

  • Not bad at all. You certainly play with a rhythm that's a bit "tick-tock-regular" for such a beatiful love song as this. Your piano needs tuning BTW. You should definately fall deeply and passionately in unrequited love until your heart can take no more - then play it again - there will be a great improvement for sure. If you love this try "Big My Secret" by Michael Nyman. Few people play this with the love it deserves.

  • Some complain about not having the first part... but the first part was a completely different song than this. He wasn't playing for the girl then, it was his jazz coming out. Seeing the girl changed the whole song, and in my mind, Playing Love doesn't start until this part. Still, the jazz intro is pretty sweet!

A nice rendition, a few out of place notes but still good. I'd recommend avoiding the steady beat. Love songs like these should flow, not be tapped out. Just a thought. =D

  • Fall in love then loose it.

    Then you'll play it right.

  • sounds STUPID without the intro, its the best part, and its played without heart or feelings to what you r doing

  • he is doing a better job then u

  • where is the intro?

  • molto bene..Grande musica

  • You got the notes down perfect, just need to work on the feeling a bit and it'll be perfect. Just watch the clip of it in the movie...

  • i wish i knew how to play it on guitar

  • J'aime tellement comme tu joues!!, le film aussi c'est l'un de mes préferes...merci!, tes mains sont superbes!

  • and the first part???

  • Very good! Well done.

  • i'm 6 foot 2. 240 pound black man and that song still gives me goose bumps.

  • There are no hearts.

  • Absolutely beautiful!

  • Yes it does. . =P

Hopefully we'll see it up on YouTube soon!

  • It's the other song from The Legend of 1900. . .when he tries to give the girl his record. . .gets gloomy and plays a song with F natural and F sharp together, sounds silly, but is beautifully written. =D

  • lol it sounds like a mistake every time those two notes are played, but other than that it seems pretty good :P

  • Ah, you're more of a piano player =D

    You should play The Crisis!

  • What's that?

  • This one must be the best then, eh? =P

Amadeus is also a fantastic music movie about Mozart - one of the greatest!

  • yea it was definately great. Amadeus wasn't focused entirely on piano though. I liked Legend of 1900 and the Pianist better :)

  • Yes they do!

Have you seen other beautiful music movies like this one?

  • The only other movie kinda like Legend of 1900 that I've seen is The Pianist. Even that movie didn't seem to be as centered around the music as this one was.

  • Wonderful playing! Legend of 1900 is one of my favorite movies =D

    Thanks for playing!

  • You're welcome! It was also one of my favorites. They need to make more beautiful piano movies like it.

  • You rule Xuan. Enjoying summer? --Phil

  • type "legend of 1900 sheet music" in google. should be the first site in the list. i typed the url in ur profile comments

  • props, xuan

  • thanks! I'll be posting more videos soon :)

  • so nice...I love this song!

  • hey xuan135, where did you get the sheet music?

  • i just googled it. it was pretty easy to find. i got it from a link found in a forum.

  • nice ;) maybe a bit too slow and silent on the repetition of the main theme (i think also in the film it's a "mezzo-forte" or a "forte"), but surely better than i did... maybe i should play it again :\

  • hmm I tried doing it like how it was played in the film. Thanks though! I always appreciate some constructive criticism

  • thanks! its a great movie if you like piano. sometimes its a bit unrealistic but i still liked it :)

  • good job. makes me want to watch the flick... lol =]
