From looking at it, it looks like grandpas old original but the battery switch and cowl induction hood give it away not to mention when you fire it up. They look like 28 X 9or9.5 X 15 ET Streets/Micky thompsons or smaller. The biggest tire I have found to fit my 67 is an L60 15 or a 30 X10.5 X15 ET Street but that required the lip on the wheel well being flattened/cut off and still have a little problem with rubbing in the turns. For street racing I use the L60 and the track I use the 10.5.

The car is pretty sweet except for the 69/70 wheels (failure on the sleeper aspect) and the underdash aftermarket A/C (especially in a fast car up north). The Knight Rider techo-crap music is a killer as well....

I can really appreciate this ride. Lots of power . A BBC in a GM intermediate. Lets address a few issues that would improve it. The exhaust would be far better if it had large diameter stainless steel tailpipes exiting at the bumpers and clean up the routing of the wiring in the engine bay and trunk. Also for god sake dont run it on a wet road with the potential of salt spray getting on it. Otherwise its sweet.
