2003 was a big exciting time for any of us in the military. We thought we were doing something big. The kids used to give us the "thumbs up!" when we passed in our convoys. By the time we(my unit) left we were getting flashed juvenille cock. What a change within a few months.
I know, it is so depressing. The last time I asked my brother, he said he still supports the war. He is a Drill Instructor in the Marines. I don't really know his views very well because we don't talk about that too much. I'm just now getting frustrated with bush. He's even fucked over us loyal conservatives now.
Ahhhh - the Marines. How I love them and their infantry ways. I am not being a shit in that - I really value the way they "protected" me as a woman in the field. Sometimes they called me Mary Poppins, sometimes they called me Jenna Jamison (sp?). Anyhow, I am Army but still will never speak poorly of the Marines. They saved my butt.
Mary Poppins? Thats actually pretty funny. I guess you have to have a pretty thick skin when you come across guys like that. I'll bet you met your fair share in the military.
My uncle just signed up for the reserves. Not quite the same, but enough of a coincidence I thought I'd post.
