@leavesofgrey I do agree that this is a track worthy of Black Halo, but you have to remember that Black Halo is a concept album, encompassing a story in order. Perhaps this song didn't really fit in to the grand scheme of the album.

I thought this was one of the Bonus Tracks from "Ghost Opera - The Second Coming" not "The Black Halo"??

Out of the two I definitely prefer "The Black Halo", it's my favourite Kamelot album, closely followed by "Epica". I would advise anybody who likes this to pick these two albums up. "Ghost Opera" is still an awesome album by most bands standards, as most people who heard Kamelot for the first time on this album will tell you, but for Kamelot, I think it's mediocre.

This song was out long before the Ghost Opera album was. It's a bonus track at the end of The Black Halo, track 15.

This song was first released on the Japanese version of "The Black Halo." The Japanese version had a few bonus songs on it that the US version didn't have. It was rereleased as a live bonus on Ghost Opera too, but that came later of course.

Have you ever listened to "Don't You Cry" on their album, Karma? GOD, Khan has so much control to his voice! "Don't You Cry" just made me fall in love with it all over again. If you haven't listened to it, you really should - that one's a heart-breaker!

And to Darkshadow - I didn't even know this song existed until today, when I was looking at lyrics trying to pick the story from them, and saw this after "Serenade." It's a gorgeous song, thanks for the upload!

hmm, success does not say anything about quality of the composure indeed, because there are many not succesful composers, but they are actually good.. So is Bear McCreary, Hans zimmer is way more popular, but they both make great music..

Bohemian rhapsody for example is a great song, and veerry succesful, but I do not think it is the best song, although i think its better than this one =)

I like that sentiment. And Maestro, everyone has a choice to think and feel however they want, musical opinions included. If someone doesn't want to think Kamelot is talented, they don't have to. Like I said, perspective, and their talent, while yes, I'd agree is very obvious, some others might not call it that. Remember, perspective.

And please avoid further arguments on this, it does tend to lead to clutter.
