Ok i get the story line and no doubt halo has always had the best storylines but one thing i do not get. We lost on the battle for reach with so many spartans. But master chief won the whole covenant and flood by himself? How did heaps of spartans lose to the covenant when one took almost all of them out. I dont get it please answer???

@EliteGamers98 Master Chief has something the others, even Noble 6 did not have... LUCK. Understand that when Reach was attacked, the Covenant thought that this was our primary planet because it was fortified unlike Harvest or even Verge, thus they threw everything they had at us. Additionally, they surprise attacked us (think about Pearl harbor). So a bloodbath was inevitable. Reach was, after all, the Spartans home base, thats why so many died.

The reason he was one of the last ones left is because of this battle at reach, where most spartans died. The end of Halo 3 has nothing to do with Reach whatsoever. Notice this game ends where the first game begins. Thought that would've been a big fucking give away but whatever.

You press the options button for skulls. In Halo 3 you had to find them...

If you played the game entirely with LASO settings, I'm pretty sure you would still get the same result as easy. bungie failed with an alternate ending because they were pressured to finish reach, and most people screamed for interesting multiplayer instead of campaign.
