Your argument goes out the window because you have the option of playing with other "good" people. Playing with randoms is your choice. I get what you're saying as playing with randoms sucks most of the time, but that's the reason you have the option of teaming up with other people you know will play as a team. You can't force others to not play the team based modes, so you might as well get to know a lot good players and play with them if you don't want frustrating moment like in this video.

Interesting Wings, but what if someone said the view you put forward here is precisely the kind of outlook that the MLG & professional/competitive gaming community markets to? These are "public" matches on XBOX live--so your NFL analogy is a little weak. Try something more like weekend friendly softball matches or something (sure you want to win those kinds of games, but it would be a stretch of intellectual dishonesty to say that softball game is "just a game too, but serious, like life").

Just to avoid letting my team down, I get as good as I can. In CoD4: Modern Warfare: Reflex I got so good I can go 30-0-0 in Free-For-All. I can do even better in team games. Yes I get mad, but I know I don't really let my team down because I haven't had a negative score since my second week playing the game.

I stop quick scoping when we start losing i pull out ump or acr. i have played with quickscopers that dont go for objective. We were on rundown and i said hey lets cap b. They told me they cant they are quickscoping. See the way i see it is that if we had gotten b we could have spawn trapped them and the quick scopers could have gotten better clips. How could you possibly assume just because someone goes negative, they are not striving to be good. Theres something called inconsistency and variables that affect the everyday gamer.
Wings, Its the same for everyone, each team is going to have the beast mode players and the crap players. When I go negitive I do feel like I have let the team down, but remember not everyone can go positive all the time. If my KD is greater than 1 I have helped in TDM if it is less than one I have hurt them. But there will be people on both sides of the match that do both and that is what makes things balanced.

I actually get that feeling sometimes that i let my team down. I often play with friends and when we get a bit some enemys that actualy defen the bobm site in demolition and i start going 15 and 14 its not the badest ever but when i hear tha enemy uav or enemy predator i feel so bad because i know i was a major part of them getting it sense im going with a paddern one kill one death one kill two deaths 3 kills one death.

I agree with wings, and with another argument. Commandoing and OMA'ing. You're having fun, good, thats what i think life is about, having fun. But when you do at other people's expense, then thats just wrong. Here's a real life example: You push someone down a set of stairs to get a couple laughs. respond to this comment and say if you OMA or Commando. Then, say whether or not you'd inflict some sort of pain be it mental, emotional, etc. to get laughs. Im sure you can figure out the rest

Just to avoid letting my team down, I get as good as I can. In CoD4: Modern Warfare: Reflex I got so good I can go 30-0-0 in Free-For-All. I can do even better in team games. Yes I get mad, but I know I don't really let my team down because I haven't had a negative score since my second week playing the game.

Yes. It is just a game. But games are fun. And some people take fun seriously. If they can't have fun, they get pissed. You can't have fun if you're losing unless you really hate other people who play games. I am one of the people who take it seriously.

i will quickscope but go for the objective like in domination and if they call air support i pull my stinger class out. I stop quick scoping when we start losing i pull out ump or acr. i have played with quickscopers that dont go for objective. We were on rundown and i said hey lets cap b. They told me they cant they are quickscoping. See the way i see it is that if we had gotten b we could have spawn trapped them and the quick scopers could have gotten better clips. Logic is a fun game

Wings, Its the same for everyone, each team is going to have the beast mode players and the crap players. When I go negitive I do feel like I have let the team down, but remember not everyone can go positive all the time. If my KD is greater than 1 I have helped in TDM if it is less than one I have hurt them. But there will be people on both sides of the match that do both and that is what makes things balanced.
