This song got me through a lot! I was constantly in conflict with my family and sadly it describes how I handled things. I really did keep my mouth shut tight a lot! I remember cruising down the road blasting this song as loud as my radio could handle and singing along (Rather badly I might add) with it. Guster is awesome!
I love this song. I've always loved Guster, and I liked their newer, Easy Wonderful, album but it was sort of creepy for some reason. I liked the songs and their meanings, It just felt weird listening to it. Lost and Gone Forever, though, I feel totally different about. It all seems so simple and happy. Reminds me of being, sort of, isolated in the town I was born in, and not having to deal with anything else.
