I have a bluenose and he's my first pit and the best dog I've ever known. Its really unfortunate the bad rep they get. I took him for a walk in downtown the other day and this lady with 2 little yorkies freaked out when she saw him and grabbed her dogs and was basically paralyzed with fear. The bad thing was her two little ankle bitters were growling and barking and going after my blue nose while he was just sitting watching them. Beautiful dog you have an an all around awesome breed!

@Lurks130 Coat color is simply a genetics thing. Your dog is a rednose. Dogs with a dominant rednose gene LACK the genetics to produce black/blue color pigments. Dogs with black noses produce black nose offspring, red/red, blue/blue. If your dog came from a litter of blue pups, then the parents both had to have a copy of the rednose gene for your dog to be produced with it. If he were a blue fawn, he would have a gray nose just like a blues coat color. What you have is a fawn or buckskin coat.

Simon that's a razors edge bloodline blue fawn. I got a Gotti bloodline blue fawn, they look similar but the razors edge are fatter and more stocky and cocky looking. While the Gotti line are more taller and not as fat. We don't have a real "pit bull" and these are not real "pit bulls" like you said, these are American Bullies cause they are mixed with bull dog.
