  • why did he miss MS, he got 90 reps?

  • ya need 92 pal.

  • i don't see what the big deal is, he's doing the 12 kg blue. haha just kidding, you're an animal Marty !!

  • wow! ok, thanks for the info guys. hope to make it!

  • depending on the lifters bodyweight do you use a different KB? how can i find out more about doing one of the MS certifications?

  • The kettlebell weights stay the same (32kg/70lb) but the rep requirements to achive a certain rank are different depending on on the weight class. (The higher the bodyweight class, the more reps need to be done).

  • oh ok, i appreciate someone telling me. what are the requirements for someone who is 310lbs?

  • The last weight category the world kettlebell club has is 90kg+ (198 pounds and over) so that's the one you'd fit in. To get MC in that one you'd have to total 228 reps between your jerk and snatches with both hands. To get a rank of "III" (the lowest with a 32kg 'bell) you'd have to total 124.

  • So 114 snatches, and 114 C&J for the 198lbs. and over division?

  • 4Ranges you have to have 228 reps total. So if you did 150 jerks and 78 snatches you would get it, or similarly if you did 150 snatch and 78 jerks.

  • my response is 1 month overdue, but thanks skulver!

  • Awesome job. 32kg/70lbs.

  • to the poster - do you know the exact weight he used? and is there a certain weight for different weight classes?

  • nice job dude
