i miss how the contestants are first introduced with a hmong dance. i've been watching the pagents since i was young & the last time it was like that in mn, was in '96-'97 :(

in my opinion it is more appealing to watch the beauties in our beautiful hmong clothes.

first of all.. they are supposed to be good idols for the hmong community.. and they dance to a song about "material girls" ??? thats dumb...

And it does NOT hurt to dance to Material Girls!! Miss Hmong MN is supposed to show that she can do ANYTHING! Nothing in this dance is "INAPPROPRIATE!" It shows how much courage and how talented each girl is! Don't HATE!

I agree. But the girls had no say in the song or the dance. The Coordinator "GaoNyiag" former Miss Minnesota 05 I believe picked the song and the dance. It was all her brilliant idea. o_O

i think that they should have used seven flowers (taiwanese) singer's version. I think the song would be more catchy!
