too bad xeons aren't that great for gaming. Yeah, they will chew through any game ever, but they are hard coded for DATA. and 2 of them won't give you any benefit in games. I run Xeons in my server farm (Arch Linux represent) and they work for that perfectly because they are meant for it. It's a great showcase, like a gold plated car, quite useless.

if you guys want a true master computer then get a sandy bridge motherboard with 4 way sli. Sr 2 with xeon is so out of date now, Sandybridge can overclock many times faster than xeon and you can have more than twice the performance than a sr 2 system.

@MegaDeathwarrant I have searched the info for the big bang Marshall and I cannot see where it supports 4-way sli. It has enough slots of course, but it is a matter of licensing, not slots. You can also mix and match GPU manufacturers, but I do not see 4-way SLI support stated. I know the ASUS Maximus IV Extreme doesn't support it and most others don't through licensing. I have personally test dual 590s with a few P67 boards and none of them worked.

A 13 amp mains socket is good for 3120 watts....that's 13 A x 240v right? So if the max wattage for an outlet is 3120w, why do you have to have an extension to your room?

I recommend hooking your SR2 build to two circuit lines. Since it has 2 PSUs, just use an extension. That way, you can max out everything and still keep your electricity running considering 15ampsX120v (1800w) per breaker/circuit.
