@TheTechnophilia I have the EVO and didn't know much of what you write. Either you should sell the phones, sell Sprint, or make commercials! Quality of commercials are the one thing the iPhone has in spades over the EVO. My wife an I bought two a couple of weeks ago and love them. I can't believe how we didn't know great they were until we did our very own research.

@TheTechnophilia The picture capturing quality is definitely good and not as compressed as the video, is the video quality going to come out uncompressed in 2.2? Because I actually noticed video quality on Nexus one went up higher due to 2.2 :D

evo is a great phone, my cousin got it, but im a g1 user and everything is the same in interface, except that some apps are only available on 2.1....this is bullshit....the g1 is the first android phone...why should us g1 users get the chepiest software??

I love this phone!!! It needs Android 2.2, AMOLED screen, it needs to come with the HDMI cable and it needs a 16gd card. We know updates are slow as hell and how Hero and Moment owners are still waiting for 2.1. For the $10 EXTRA dollars that is the least Sprint, HTC and Andriod could do.
I preordered the HTC EVO from Radioshack. It reminds you of the HTC HD2 as a matter of fact the representative said it was comparable to the EVO. I must say it has a HUGE screen the display was a demo but its a big handset.

You know what I find even more incredible than this amazing phone - that someone felt they had to use the word "f___ing" to ask about it's release date and no one seems to be bothered by it. The first app you should get joey451 for your new EVO is a really good dictionary and then possibly something on healthy communication skills.
I called my sprint customer service rep this morning and apparently they're allowing for preorders in the next 2 weeks, and he guestimates the release in the next 3-6weeks...dear lord I cant wait!!! EEK!
i have scoured the internet trying to find some solid info on this phone so these are just rumors but ive found them in multiple places: Price is rumored at $200 w/ contract, $600 without, and the release date is either June 6th of June 13th. Just rumors though.

I love this phone!!! It needs Android 2.2, AMOLED screen, it needs to come with the HDMI cable and it needs a 16gd card. We know updates are slow as hell and how Hero and Moment owners are still waiting for 2.1. For the $10 EXTRA dollars that is the least Sprint, HTC and Andriod could do.

I preordered the HTC EVO from Radioshack. It reminds you of the HTC HD2 as a matter of fact the representative said it was comparable to the EVO. I must say it has a HUGE screen the display was a demo but its a big handset.
