another great band that makes me proud to be scottish. But also gives me a dilema. When im in the car, which album do i play? Hipsway by hipsway? or strange kind of love?. Im only 21 years old, but you just cant fault the originallity of this stuff. Give me this over bellend gaga and fat thighs rhianna any day of the week. Songs written by song writers and not lip synced on live performances.

Well done neofunkyman!! I was one of the few who bought the 12" of this in the late 80's, and still have strange kind of love on cd. There were a lot of seriously underrated Scottish bands including the Big Dish and Fruits of Passion. And don't forget the Irish who had The Adventures, fantastic stuff!!

Why on earth is there not a full video of this song that NEEEDS promotion! Such a blast quality of a song are you going to look after for ages. Definitely not a mainstream pop or mass produced! @jackHNv no jack i had this in 88' i bought it without hearing it on the strength of the fact that it,s produced by steely dan gary katz and features jeff porcaro(toto) on drums plus timothy b schmitt (eagles) on backup vocals ,paul griffin keyboards a steely dan sessioneer and rick derringer guitar (edgar winter group) also a steely dan guest! a slick album with great tunes and playing of the highest quality!!
